Local Specialties
- Blue Agave Tequila: This tequila can be found at Canteen's Modern Tequila Bar where they make the best tequilas and add Blue Agave and other desert cactus mixtures in the drink, trust me they're great!
- Light Beers: The staple drink for every college party, if you bring a pack of Keystone Light consider yourself THAT guy.
- Sun Devil shots: Frank’s Friendly Tavern is known for these shots that look like our school colors, maroon and gold!
- Sundevil Margarita: At Blue Agave's Southwestern Grill, the Sundevil Margarita mixes a great combo of Cuervo Gold, Patron Citronge, sweet and sour, orange juice and a splash of cranberry.
- Zuma Juice: Every college girls dream, a drink that mixes sweet, cheap, and hard hammered judgement impairment. Zuma Juice and Zuma's bar & grill mixes the taste of cotton candy, a shirley temple, and a grip load of alcohol in one concoction (there is also Red Bull in the drink too).

Cheapest Place to Get a Drink
Many clubs and bars on Mill Avenue will have discount prices on drinks and sometimes will come with no cover charge. Likewise, happy hour at different bars around Tempe is an excellent choice to get your midday drink on without killing your wallet.
Organization Parties
There are several clubs around Scottsdale and Tempe that host events with celebrity appearances or awesome DJ's in town. Many birthday parties or special holiday events like Halloween, St. Patrick's Day, among others are held at these different clubs as well. Local party crews will throw big bashes at clubs and obviously Greek Life can host a number of events as well.
Did You Know?
- ASU has long carried a "party school" reputation. It has "prestigiously" been top-ranked by the Princetion Review and Playboy.
- Don't forget to plan ahead for a night out. Most nightclubs have a guest list, and you'll need to contact the club to be put on the list to ensure entry. Some venues have cover charges, too, so always carry cash just in case. Above all, if you're planning on drinking, make sure you have a reliable designated driver, or at least a cab number programmed in your phone.
