Facilities in Good Condition. I am satisfied with the facilities/resources around campus. They have a library and a student center which organizes a lot of campus activities.

Solar Paneled Campus – AZ Western College is the First and so far only school in the U.S. that uses solar panels to obtain energy from the sun and convert it into electricity. Almost every day of the year it is nice and sunny here at AZ Western and that is something i enjoy every day.

Satisfied With My Decision. Everyone is very friendly at AWC although there isn't much school spirit. Even so, I like my school and wouldn't change it for anything.

Life at AWC – Arizona Western is a very nice school. Since I live on campus, which is another plus, I get the whole college experience. I wasn't ready to go to a huge university but I still wanted to get that dorm life experience and I did. I love my dorm, RA, and hall director. I love the school staff and faculty! They are all generous and very kind. I love how the school holds everyone to high standards. If you're an athlete that is another plus. I received a scholarship for cheerleading! They have boys/girls basketball, baseball, softball, cheerleading, dance, and football; scholarhips are always being handed out for athletics. Overall, this is school is simply amazing!

Career Center Unhelpful – Speaking from my own experience I did not like the service at all. It seemed as if they were not interested in helping me find a job or internship. I was seeking for an internship and the staff there told me that they prioritize college students.

Got Feedback? I enjoy online clasees since I can save gas money and do it at my own pace. The only thing I did not like about my last course was the little amount of feedback I got from the instructor. Assignments were due every other day and I thought was doing great! Unfortunetely at the end of the course my instructor told me I did poorly on some assignments but I never knew until I got the C. :(

Unhappy With Requirements to Graduate – I like going to this small college but I don't like taking classes that have nothing to do with my major and that I'm never going to use again.

I feel that their is not enought teachers in this area. I have had to wait an extra year to complete the culinary part of my degree due to the classes 1. Not offered/on a rotating schl. some offered in the fall then some offered in the spring and none in the summer. Due to the demand the classes fill very fast and sometimes you can not get in the class due to the number of students in each class. Lack of instructors to be able to offer more classes. This problem has put me so far behind one semester

Tutoring and Campuse Activities – What i like the most about the resources at our school is that we have very good math and english tutors. There are different students along the day helping out in the tutoring center; that helps out because of the many different schedules students have. I also like how the school has different activities through out the year like job fairs, transfer fair, environmental sustainability fair and many other events that help guide to your next step in life.

First Experience With Online Course – My second semester in college, had to be the hardest time of my life. Frankly, because I have always be over committed and I had one Math online course. It was very diffcult for me to understand math problems online than it was to has the traditional classroom experience. Never again will I ever take a online course whether its English or Science, I will never put myself in that stituation again!

My First Semester in College. My first semester at Arizona Western College was great! At first I wasn't so sure if I was going to attend college, because of economic problems. But after being pushed and encourage be a close friend. I realize how different high school is from college. I loved my first sememster, and if I could go back to my senior year in high school. I would probably have applied for the University of Arizona.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
It's nice being an in state resident, there is some grace in that with finances, since the tuition is a bit cheaper. My financial aid experiences with the AWC financial aid office has been pleasant. I recieved aid in a timely manner and they were very informative. The education I've recieved is worthwhile.

I'd Choose AWC – I enjoy Arizona Western College because I have gotten to be apart of other students lives while being here, whom I wouldn't have if I had not attended AWC. Arizona Western College is unique because it's one of the few Jr. colleges in Arizona that offers on campus housing, dormatories. That brings in a diverse community of students, athletes from all over the states, and foreign students. It is also a campus that has an NAU branch which makes for convenience to a four year bachelor degree.
