There are plenty of resources, there are plenty of computer labs and lots of places to study. As for the gym and other places, I haven't been.

I have yet to take online courses but I have herd good things about them, online courses just aren't my vice.

The teachers are actually very helpful, the ones I have had helped me extra to ensure that I understood the assignments and how to use all of the online tools provided for us.

There are lots of classes at this school but unforturnately there is not enough night courses, within the next few semesters I will probably have to quite my job so that I can continue going to schools.

When I was a freshman at this school I got almost no help in chosing classes and/or creating an effective plan to help me graduate. Luckily this is a fairly small community college so I knew many other students and they were very helpful.

Professors can be very friendly, but some will treat you as a kid instead of an adult. But all professors are willing to stay after hours to help those students who need them.

The facilities at the campus are decent. There is a gym with good equipment, library, a few computer labs, a pool, and theater and even a Starbucks for those that like coffee. It makes the life of the students more comfortable.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
In AWC the process for financial aid is relatively easy to comprehend and do. It some cases it is worth the money, but sometimes there are a lack of classes to spend the money on. Also, do not wait until the last minute to apply for financial aid, do it ASAP!

There are many places inside the campus where computers are available for students, not just at the library. There are several computer labs close by. There is WiFi all around campus, and it is reliable, though it can be slow sometimes.

AWC does have some excellent resources, that make life more easier for the students. It has several branches across the county which makes it more accessible for students that do not live close to the main campus.

The quality of the post-grad services at AWC are average. They are not overly helpful.
College Sophomore 2013-06-29T00:36:46Z
AWC is not an overly friendly college. I have met some nice people but most of the students that go there have another life on the side (for example a family, etc.)
College Sophomore 2013-06-29T00:32:22Z
AWC is a pretty convenient college for the most part. The problems that I have had are that they only offer a few spots in the science classes. Due to this I have had to skip a semester that I needed to take. They also need a wider range of teachers in the Science areas, specifically Physics. Their current Physics teacher is not very good (does not give enough necessary information to complete an assigned project) but he is the only teacher and so I had to take his class by default.

I really enjoyed the Psychology classes here. The professor is very knowledgeable and has helped the community so much. I have taken many of his classes. The information is easy to process and I have learned so much about myself and the field.

There are many schools you can transfer to from Arizona Western College. It's easier to transfer if you stay in Arizona, which I plan to do. I have been a full time student but my schedule was also flexible where I could help my ailing father.

I am located at the Aizona Western College Parker location. It is a very welcoming atmosphere because of the smaller size of the school. Everyone is friendly and always willing to help with any problem. The clases are smaller and I feel that you learn more when the professor is not overwhelmed with students. The professors are very knowledgeable and easy to get along with. The last two years were very fun and learning was easy.

Transferring of credits was really easy from my college in Illinois, also the hours of the classes are very flexible and meet my schedule.
College Junior 2013-06-07T21:03:07Z
The facilities on campus are ok, but there isn't much variety for student with various interest outside of sports or theater
College Junior 2013-06-07T21:01:13Z
The computer network at the school is great, I've had no problems
College Sophomore 2013-06-07T09:11:32Z
It has been in my experience that I have paid good money to either have a teacher with such a thick accent that you can't understand them, expects you to learn the content by just reading the book, won't offer tutoring or answer questions about homework, or doesn't apply real world knowledge and just reads off a powerpoint made by someone else.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
It is extremely irritating that even though I live on my own and have to work 2 jobs to support myself I don't qualify for financial aid because my dad, who I haven't lived with for 2.5 years, makes too much. I don't live with him and he doesn't help support me so why should I be refused assistance in getting my degree? It was also extremely difficult to talk to the financial aid supervisor.

Average amount of resources for a community college.

I had a good experience, because the academics are challenging and worthwhile.
College Senior 2013-06-06T22:01:55Z
Great school, because the academics are rigorous enough to learn, but fair at the same time.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
