I am wondering if it is possible to take general studies at one college then transfer to a different college for major studies.

yes it is. just make sure the classes you're taking are transfer credits

As far as I know, yes it is possible, although its always wise to check to be sure all of your credits will transfer over, especially if you are transferring from a small community college, unless things have changed since I was last attending school.

Yes, you are able to take some general class at one college then transfer it to a different college for a mejor studies.By doing that you are able to complete some course without leaving home and able to safe more money in your local community college.
