The student body at Arizona Western College is much diversified in respect to all of the many ethnicities, religions, nationalities, and sexualities represented. Bordering Mexico, Arizona represents a lot of Hispanic people, and so does the student body of Arizona Western College. You are very likely to meet Spanish speakers among the students, but students coming from other races and backgrounds are very noticeable, as well, especially on the main campus. Asians, Latinos, Europeans, and Africans are represented through the international program, with Vietnamese students representing a majority of the Asian student population.
In terms of religion, students are Christians, Muslims, Atheists, Buddhists, and much more. In terms of sexuality, both homosexuals and straight students will likely be among your friends while you attend Arizona Western College. All in all, AWC's diversity makes for a unique, enjoyable socio-academic environment. Events, club activities, and classes bring students together in interactions that build long-term connections and relationships.
