Online classes can be very convenient if you manage your time wisely. I usually take my electives or history online. I wouldn't recommend science, literature, or math online. The student/professor relationship is fine, my professors still know me by face. However, I don't really know any of the students in the online courses. We have opportunities to comment on each others blogs, I rarily take the chances to communicate with other students.
I learned an abundance of things at ANC. I basically go for free because financial aid covered everything. ANC is so inexpensive that, I receive a nice amount back at refund time.
Alot of people in my school are high school students, with a small percentage being adults. There are some people that just make a class impossible to learn, acting out, etc...but for the most part it is a calm, learning atmosphere. Majority of people there are wanting the education.
The tuition @ ANC is very reasonable and if you apply yourself in school, easily can make the grade. I experienced the "not applying" in first semester and didn't make grade needed so I dropped classes. It's all about growing up and becoming responsible for yourself without anyone bugging you about doing your homework, studying, and having your assignments in class on time.
We always have very good internet connection and there are always computers available.
