The school has a very nice gym, it's not that big but it does have very nice equipment. Their are a bunch of little quite rooms throughout the campus for students to hang out and relax, study or have fun. Love the layout of the school and everywhere to spend time between classes!

Everyone is pretty good at working around schedules, and most of the time will help you if something comes up. The amount of online classes help make up for scheduling issues.

It is ok for the school however you have to on the ball at all times. Some cases of Internet malfunctions have occurred and while the system is down there is no way of getting your assignments and tasks. The system can be shut down between 32 to 64 hours depending on the tech and the situation.

It's a problem for students to be able to have that freedom to be able to cheat, while I don't do it, most of my friends do. We need to be able to prevent that from happening

We try to do as much as we can to keep the students involved in the school functions. We do not have an organized sports team but if the students ask for a group of them to call themselves a team we encourage it.

Good sized campus with plenty of courses to choose from. The teachers seem great and the advisors are wonderful

Most of the teachers have been good; I had some bad experiences at first with a particular teacher who went back to her home in Sweden and basically abandoned the class in the middle of an English course. Other than that, the classes have been great. All of my earned credits easily transferred but Arkansas has specific state laws that ease course transfer between public universities.

This is a modern campus with a new weight room, student center, and a well stocked library.

I am an online only nontraditional student so I can't comment on the social scene... however the facilities are modern, mostly new, and there are several great academic programs and online courses. ASUN is a growing campus with expanding programs.

The Portal and Email systems have been upgraded several times over the past couple of years. The new email system is great. Wireless internet at ASUN is fast and reliable.

At my school, most everyone gets along. There's a half and half when it comes to full-time jobs or part-time jobs, or no job, and with or without a family. There are many different degrees and certificates at my college so there are many different people working toward their own personal goal. Most are getting an education to better their chances at a greater paying job. Others are getting an education to start a new life with a different job, preferrably something they've always enjoyed. From different ages and ethnicity's, everyone is equal, gets along, and has no disputes with other students. We all interact as if we were all one big group with everyone having different hobbies.

This school stays on top of everything when it comes to the computer/networking end. They have updates every once in a blue moon but they get the systems back up and running before you ever realize there was a problem!

Online courses are easier then I thought, once you get used to them, they become a breeze. It is much more convenient then trying to commute everyday. I think the workload is just as hard as a typical in class setting. Taking courses online is great if you can motivate yourself to do them, if not I would not recommend taking them. Most of the teachers will give you ample ways to get a hold of them in the beginning of the course, and will go out of their way to help you when you have a problem or a question.

A Great Place to Start – I attended mostly online classes offered by Arkansas State University Newport. In my two years with this school, I have only attended three actual on campus classes. I was very satisfied with my experiences here.
