There is parking but make sure you arrive early to have time to walk to class.

The dorms are full of people to meet, but the internet isn't the best. Unless you have an Ethernet cable, it's a little difficult to get a signal in your room.

I live in Hinesville Ga, and attend the Liberty Campus. The campus has much to offer as far as resources, but as far as a city atmosphere there is little to none. you can always find a hotel room and a fast food dive, but as far as anything else, unless you like rats nest strip clubs and Wal-Mart, your best to focus on school.

As with any institution that is of decent size it can be hard to obtain statistics of such activity. Even harder to obtain reliable facts about what types of drugs are being used more frequently than others. On that Note, one of the many endearing qualities of Armstrong is the lack of a Party Hard aesthetic.I enjoy the constant reminders via fliers and email reminders of a drug free smoke free NO TOLERANCE Institution.I am a non smoker and a non drinker, but I live with both, and it is nice to be able to go to University and finally expand my mind as well as my lungs and be confident that the only toxins (in the air from pollutants) that are going in are the ones that aren't by others self destructive behavior.

Nothing but your typical youth . There's of course drinking , but they've recently turned Armstrong into a tabacco free campus. I'm not exactly sure how well they're enforcing that though because i still see people walking around smoking, but hey, i think it's a good idea .

My only true complaint is that it is an extreme pain in the ass trying to find parking around campus and the campus police are always riding around on their golf carts handing out tickets. *sigh. Also, they come to shut down every single campus party which is a drag . blahh .
College Sophomore 2012-09-23T06:29:32Z
The campus is nice, and most of the professors I have had have been pretty freaking cool. They're very friendly and extremely helpful .

Anything that you could possibly think of to eat, it's within 10 minutes of campus, literally. It's like heaven . Feeling for McDonald's, maybe checkers ? No ? Maybe Olive Garden or La Parilla ? iHop, Denny's, Arbys ? We've got it ALL . & it's all on on street ! ahhhhhh , i love it sooo much .
College Sophomore 2012-09-23T06:22:21Z
There are plenty computers available on campus . They are fast working and efficient .
College Sophomore 2012-09-23T06:18:36Z
There's always a party going on, every weekend . If you want to get wasted , this is DEFINITELY the place to be .

Health & Safety:
They are out camouflaging in the bushes (lol). They are very good at giving tickets and helping people in general. I have no issues with the campus police...they are doing a very good job if you ask me. I feel very safe on campus. Only thing out here that will attack are the bugs; that's how safe it is out here.

What nightlife, the crickets makes more music than anyone on campus. Very quiet never seen any parties or heard of any parties around here. Maybe I missed that memo. I have not went out yet down here and plus all my friends are in the city. I don't know to many people to go out with right now.

This is my first semester at Armstrong. The campus is diverse. There needs to be a better social gathering. Yes they have certain days, some people on campus mentioned like Armstrong Day (I will attend because I heard it was a big event). The challenge here is bringing people together outside of class. Individuals mostly associate with their own organization making it harder for people to mingle. I have not seen any racism or alarming acts on campus.

Buses Are Best/ or Your Own Car – There is now a new system that runs specifically for Armstrong students called CAT. Its improved far better than once what it was to improve safety for students and allow convenience.

Bamboo - Chinese Food – This restaurant is literally right across the street from the school. Its affordable, convenient, tastes good and discounts are given during lunch time.
College Sophomore 2012-09-10T18:44:59Z
No Options – Greek life at Armstrong is almost non-existent. There are only two or three sororities and frat's to choose from and neither have their own housing. This also beneficial because it's not a necessity to be in either a frat or sorority and you will still be accepted.
College Sophomore 2012-09-10T18:38:06Z
There aren't many choices of food to choose from on Armstrong Campus. The main dining hall, which is the Galley, has a repetitive choice of food which you will quickly get tired of. Then you have WOW Wing and Quizno's which is okay to eat, but they have a few faults also. Both restaurants take some time to get your food ready so don't go there to eat when you're in a rush.
College Sophomore 2012-09-10T18:33:24Z
Not Really an Option – I personally have not rode any of the transit systems around Savannah because I have my car. When I was here over the summer though, I didn't have my car and I rarely seen buses on a regular schedule around campus. Not until fall semester did I begin to see more buses around the school.

Armstrong Is the Most Beautiful Campus – Armstrong campus is the most beautiful place. We have large oaks trees, all types of flower, ferns, fruit plants, water fountains, and just a very nature like place.

Guys & Girls:
Students Dress Mostly Like Young Adults – well, just like any other campus there is a variety of fashions. In the summer students mostly wear shorts and a t-shirts. I have seen some wear dresses and other commonly used attires. Students from all around the world attend armstrong so are some different clothes used.
Recent Alumnus 2012-08-30T20:59:30Z
No Drug Problem – I have not seen anymore use, sell, or posses any drugs. Armstrong is a nice place because people go their ways to help a complete strangers. I think that is the safest school that I've attended.

Armstrong Is a Nice and a Little Crowed Place – Savanna is a busy city so it is a little crowed. Armstrong has a bus stop in front of the school and students mostly drive to school. The students who live on campus walk or ride their bike around campus. I think that in the future, armstrong will need a more buildings and parking lots.

At AASU you will find many people of different race here: Black, White, Hispanic/Latino, Indian, Scottish, and Asian . Many of our students on our soccer team are from abroad. Also AASU has a student exchange program with China so you will get a chance to meet different students from China.

There is always a spot open, but it may not be where you want it
College Junior 2012-08-27T23:15:06Z
