Off Campus Living – There are a few apartment complexes and houses. The prices are reasonable. Overall, not very many choices.

There is really no transportation offered other than the Cat bus which gets you further in town to other places. Most of the time you have to catch rides with other people.

Gym and Student Union – I love the student union. Its a very social place and it is a very cool place to hang out. The gym is great too..there are alot different work out classes and machines to choose from which makes going to the gym exciting and fun.

Guys & Girls:
You'll find all sorts of guys at Armstrong: city boys, rednecks, and alot of down to earth boys, too. The girls are pretty much just Southern bells. Takes a moment to get use to the accent.

Dry Campus.. We are definitely suppose to be a dry campus. I know my business, but besides drinking and smoking there are not too many visible drug activities.

Health & Safety:
Safety Is First. Armstrong always has the police on the lookout. They are pretty good with what they do. Savannah is a pretty suspicious place, and for us to not be gated we have no crime on campus to my knowledge.

I appreciate the professors, they all for the most part seem to have no problem giving extra help and love what they do.

Health & Safety:
Nice Campus, but Dark at Night – I have never felt threatened on campus or had a bad experience...but I am a graduate student, and take classes predominantly in the evening hours each day. The lighting at Armstrong is poor, although the campus is beautiful...none the less you can't help but get edgy getting into your car in a dark parking lot so close to the main intersections. Daytime is lovely

Armstrong Commandments. The campus is pretty strict on school policies and academics. The police force is also pretty strict on drinking and parking.

The students are very involved in sports and are supported by both students and faculty. The athletic facilities are also nice.

My Major Major – I enjoy the program I am in. This is my first year and I was blessed with a cool chemistry teacher. My first semester was not bad at all. I have plenty of free time, and they have plenty opportunities for anyone to find internship/ job opportunities.

This Is How They Greek – Armstrong has a good variety of Greek life, but they lack the dominant African-American frats. At the cookouts, you can find the Greeks doing their stroll in the crowd though. Most of them give back to the community, and they do not cause any trouble.

It's pretty quiet. Unless it's one of those hot nights and the grills are fired up, you will notice if many people are still on campus. It is peaceful outside most of the time at night. You may have to deal with occasional skaters, but it is still not that bad.

Its Ok – The gym is not that great and we need a football team

Thats Me – I have lived off campus the whole time I have attended school. I love living off campus

Pretty Close – There are many fast food restaurants near campus but the only deal I know about is Chik-fila gives college students a buy one get one free chicken sandwich on tuesdays

Not Helpful – For young college students that have always been dependent on their parents it is not helpful or user friendly at all

I like having the "private " room , I pay a little bit extra for it ,but it is worth it. The noise from the upstairs is extreme, the RA does not seem to care. I like having the washer and dryer there for not extra cost. Having the kitchen available is very nice.
College Junior 2012-02-15T16:21:01Z
For the most part it is hot- so if you like tropical weather you will love it!
College Junior 2012-02-15T16:18:21Z
Not So Good – breakfast is very good ,lunch and dinner are hit or miss - trying to eat at lunch time is next to impossible, if you dont hit it early if you go at the end of the rush in order to find a place to sit they are out of most items

It is not the best place for under 21 people. The bars are numerous but you cannot get in. Transportation is good. The bus system runs through the entire town.
College Sophomore 2012-02-15T03:01:16Z
The Life in a Dorm – It is loud and you can hear through the walls. It is nice to be near everyone and get to know people on campus though.

I think that the computer labs are numerous, printing is fine, but network could be better.

The Greek community here is small, but definitely growing. For the most part they are really easy to be around, not snobbish, and throw some great parties. Overall they are very involved around the school and have the most fun. Right now Armstrong has Pi Kappa Alpha and Kappa Sigma for fraternities and Sigma Sigma Sigma, and Alpha Sigma Tau for sororities. No one here has houses, but it sounds like there will be a greek row on campus within the next 2 years or so. Greek life here is definitely worth it.
The Pikes here are definitely the most involved on campus. They are in SGA, intramurals, CUB, attend every basketball and volleyball game and are apart of just about every student organization on campus. We also have some bomb ass parties.
Kappa Sigma is rock solid too and have a bunch of parties as well. Cool bunch of guys.
As far as sororities, the two are pretty even, but Sigma is around campus a lot more.

Guys & Girls:
The girls are average, but there are a ton of them.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
