Transportation here is good for those with rides and friends who have rides, but will suck if you don't have a car or friends with cars because it will be very difficult to go around. Most of the big stores where students usually get stuff they really need are not located in the town where the school is located so it is difficult for students who are new to find rides that will take them there. There is a need for transportation for students especially students who are not familiar with the area.

Everything at Asbury is within walking distance. A student can walk from one end of campus to the other in about fifteen minutes.

You Need a Car, or a Friends Who Are Willing to Drive You – Asbury is about 20 minutes outside of Lexington, Ky. So having a car on campus is really your only option for transportation to get to Lexington. There are a lot of options for ride sharing though, and campus has some cars available to use depending on the situation (doctor appointment, emergency, etc)

Make Friends With Upper-Classmen – Asbury has gone through some changes over the past couple of months, but there is still a large majority of students without cars. If the situation arises Asbury has a list of students(who get paid) with cars that are willing to give other students rides to or from the airport.

Asbury is located 30 minutes outside of Lexington, and there is no public transportation. One problem even technically within campus is getting to the adventure/ropes course, as well as the equine center. Obtaining rides out there can be very difficult, especially before you know people.
