As far as the financial aid process goes, students are fairly split down the middle, with some saying that it went smoothly and without hassles, and others saying that there were a few snags involved. Many times, students get confused about the minor and major fees involved in the financial aid process. However, most students are generally happy with the cost of their education and feel they are getting their money's worth. 

Advisers can be very helpful. They are often happy to walk students through any problems that arise during the financial aid process. They are also very respectful of students and get back to them with answers to their questions in a timely manner.

Recieving Financial Aid and Tuition

It is very easy to obtain financial aid and student loans to finance your education with Ashford. I find that in the 2 years that I have been attending they have increased tuition twice in the last six to eight months. Because of the tuition increase I am experiencing short falls in meeting my financial obligation. I feel that it would be more professional to lock tuition rates for the remainder of the semester to insure students receiving loans and financial aid will be able to continue to meet their financial obligations.

Financial Aid Review

I was already familiar with the process, but my advisors made it really easy for me. They gave me a check list of things to do and updtaed me when they were completed. They often asked me if I needed any help or if I had any questions. The financial aid portion of enrolling in the program was one of the easiest things I have to do for this degree.

Tuition

tuition has gone up over $100 per credit in the past year. A steep hike when you are budgeting expenses. The education is worth it, but since I do most online, a discount for not being in the classroom at the school would be nice.
