Ashland is a school that always seems to be building or planning to build. We have a new Education building that is gorgeous and reminiscent of Hogwarts, an amazing sciences building, a football field that is less than five years old and a rec center that is less than four years old.
Some of the dorms are small and they aren't air conditioned but you don't need to spend that much time in your room! Go out and make friends and spend time in the library or in a study room in Kettering!

I'm not much of a social butterfly, but I do know that AU has quite a few campus activities that CAB puts on. Just this past year, Andy Grammer came. That was pretty awesome!

One of my favorite parts about Ashland University is that the students are usually very friendly. Very rarely do you walk by someone who isn't smiling at you. I like that!
We have a great Rec Center, and some of the building are very nice. Unfortunately, the building I spend the most of my time in (because of my major) isn't as nice as the other buildings.

As an athletic training major I have found that attending practice for football, soccer, volleyball, etc. has been very helpful and I have an increased knowledge and love for my major.

Something for Everyone – There are many different activities on campus that everyone is sure to find something they love. Each department has opportunities for students of that major. Each major has their own clubs as well as internship, student teaching, and field experience opportunities. There are clubs for other things beyond majors, such as Human Trafficking Awareness Group, CAB, Political Parties, PAW (for animal livers), Colleges Against Cancer, and Religious Groups. There are both fraternities and sororities on campus, though very popular with the students not everyone joins. Those not in either still participate in the events put on by the individual chapters. There are varsity, club, and intramural sports. At the rec center you can workout, swim, play on the courts, rock climb, practice your golf swing, play pool or ping pong, take classes, rent movies, or get a smoothie and snack at the smoothie bar. Besides having the option to eat at the rec center, students can eat at the Eagle's Nest or Convo, all are great choices. Convo is buffet style and Eagle's Nest is great for those on the go or if they are meeting others to work on a project or study. Many students spend hours in the library on campus. With eight floors there is plenty of space to be in a quiet space by yourself or to go with a group of friends to study together. Besides sports and studying Campus life put on fun events all year long. This includes movie on the quad, concerts, dances, Springfest, and other free events on the quad.
