The registration process is easy, and most of the teachers are friendly. They get to know us, not just educationally, but our personal preferences so they can adjust their teaching styles to reach all kids. Most of the time they grade based on if you learned something knew rather than on how great an essay is. The point to them is that we understand the topics and can apply them to every day situations. It really helps that the teachers aren't focused on handing out grades but rather that we improve.

The marketing class split up into groups and do a real marketing analysis on local businesses. The consumer behavior class does a survey to predict how much people will spend during the holidays. The advertising and promotion class do a car show to promote a car show at a speedway at the end of the semester. Economics courses write an essay on a topic of their choice and relate it to economics. Overall my business courses are helping me out in learning the stuff I need by making me do real life projects.

Most students come & leave without focusing on learning part. The groups are split between the kids who learn easily, and the kids who have difficulty with that. There are many foreign students who are trying to learn as well as the mid-age people along with the elderly to change their lives. A great thing is that community service is required in certain classes and most students help in the library or in the child day care room.
