While not all of my professors have been home runs, the majority of my teachers have very strongly supported my education. My Composition II professor challenged me to create some of the best written material of my academic career, and my mathematics professors and computer science professors have been more than happy to lecture me privately on the materials of their courses.

The incredibly empathetic staff still surprise me. During the last Winter semester, family crises surfaced that caused me to not be available for the class I had scheduled myself for. The staff at enrollment services made the process of dropping the class stress and hassle free. This is only one of many stories I can share about

As an undergraduate, I cannot accurately rate this

The process in order to take the classes needed for your major are very difficult. The councilors at my school are not sure what they are doing and every councilor gives me a different answer. Transferring credits will be very difficult for me especially i go out of state. The colleges i'm looking into have different requirements the ACCC has.

I believe the online classes at my school are the same as others. Online classes are difficult in general because it's a lot of school work crammed into a shortened period of time, and you also do not get the personal experience you would in a classroom.

There are a lot of people in my school who are working hard to achieve the job or the schooling they want, including teenagers and adults. There's a wide variety of cultures in my school which i enjoy. Although there are positives, I am still attending a community college so the study body is not very lively.

I am in a highly selective RN program. You need a 4.0 to get in and promptly, your GPA diminishes due to the overload of information and assignments. The faculty is very helpful, but unfortunately there have been three full-time professors who have not been able to return to the program and the school is not funding their replacement, due to an overestimation in budget for a new construction building. The facilities we use in the Atlantic and Cape May Counties are great centers for the nursing clinicals. I am very grateful to be going through this program and am confident in my education guided by my program coordinators.

There is a very diverse population at my school, but unfortunately, it is like the real world. There is a lot of intolerance. There is voluntary segregation within the ethnic groups. A lot of people around campus do not attend classes and just hang around. There is also a larger mature community of adults that are in the process of changing career. This makes class functioning a little difficult.

There are amazing professors who go beyond their required scope of practice to ensure their students are engage and successful in their courses. The Nursing Department at ACCC is passionate and dedicated to the education of the future RN's that go through the program.

The orientation to Blackboard 9 is more complicated than it was in previous versions. There is a disconnection from professors by having the online class and there is a feeling of rejection. The discussions do not substitute for what an in-class would provide, but it is still completely functional if you don't have time for traditional college classes.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I think I should have gotten some financial aid but my family and I worked it that I was able to leave ACCC with out any debt which I was happy about.

The classes for my major were changed while I was there and I had to change my schedule. It was confusing and annoying.

I loved most of my professors and the class sizes were great for the one-on-one attention I was looking for. I got to know quite a few new people but because it was a community college I was not looking to get into any groups or clubs.

i dont see many post grad services but this is probably because most students use ACCC as a stepping stone and then transfer to a four year college. im sure the nursing and culinary students have more of an alumni network and help with finding a career

since i commute, live so close to the school, and work two jobs i really dont get to utilize the resources on campus. however it seems like they have alot to offer for a community college.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Honestly I usual get financial aid and normally don't have problems. This semester I didn't receive financial aid but i know it wasn't decided by ACCC. The people in the office are usually helpful to me but I have heard others have bad experiences with them not being willing to help or answer questions.

Teachers are very willing to help and if they aren't they always let us know about the free tutoring ACCC offers.

I love the computer labs. They have macs and windows depending on which operating system you prefer. I've never had any problems in the computer labs and the people there are more than willing to help. The only improvement would be get more printers.

Now don't get me wrong with the rest of my review, there were a few teachers, however less then a handful, that I've dealt with that were great professors. Meaning they were welcoming, taught the class with such enthusiasm, and made each class somewhat fun to come to. On e contrary, the rest of the professors I've had were not. It's almost as they thought like the majority of they students: where they just wanted to go to their class and then home right after. Rushing through, not speaking clearly, and not hanging around much after for any extra help.

It's a community college like any other. Students who have had low high school GPA's, students who wish to save money the first two years, and students who simply can't afford a high degree. With this there's a common thread: students who are struggling. Therefore, students either get involved and get along fair well or theirs those students disappointed in themselves to the point that they choose to attend class and go home right after. At a community college, at least at his one, there's not much student engagement and it makes walking around campus depressing.

There is a very diverse student body at ACCC. As other reviewers have said, most students attending this college are also working and have little time to socialize or participate in clubs.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education that I am getting at ACCC far exceeds the cost of tuition.

I have not taken any online courses at Atlantic Cape Community College

Most of the professors were great and classes were easy to take. Homework may have been alot but definitely helped. There is also tutoring access in many subjects for those who need it.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
