Currently I am a Criminal Justice major, and almost off of my teachers/professors have worked extensively in their fields. Many of them are part-time teachers and are still working in the field, which keeps class information current.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I am getting a good education. I did not get any financial aid, which would have been a big help since I am paying for college myself. However, the tuition is reasonable and I have been able to keep up with the cost for the most part.

They quality of post-grad services are very weak, in-fact they are almost non-existing. the school has a graduation program that helps graduate students with the transfer process to many New Jersey, and some out of state colleges.

Our computer network can be described with two words "super slow" our internet is slow enough that you might just think it is dial up. the campus lacks WiFi, unless you are in the library. printing is only available in the library. But hey, you have to be appreciative of what you have, because some students around the world barely have access to computers and still manage to become successful in this world.

My favorite place in my college is the Student Life Center; here you always meet interesting people. you are able to enjoy a game of table tennis, play chess checkers, and a many other variety of board games, or you can just choose to relax in front of the t.v and watch you favorite show. The college is always providing the students with activities and events. On earth day clubs all find a place on campus and make it more green. The college also has a gym to run or lift weights. and on certain days of the week students are invited to use the main gym for basketball or volley ball, but our college is small and the gym is barely accessible because so many students use it.

although Atlantic Cape Community College is a tiny school, it helps students learn, get on the right path, and achieve their goal. Every school has it's negatives and positives. ACCC has helped me in many ways, i have been able to build a concrete base to achieve my goals of becoming a doctor. This small school allows you to gain knowledge and wisdom. You are able to connect to every one from students, teachers, and even the dean of students and president of the school. For instance the president of the school is always at events giving motivational and empowering speeches to the students. The down side to being in a small school, is having very little connections to larger schools.

The resources at the Atlantic Cape Community College are excellent. We have a gym, fitness room, a student lounge, and a very big cafeteria were you can sit down and eat and get some homework done it you need to. Most resources on campus have a calm and quiet atmosphere. Also, We have a enormous computer lab with a library adjacent to it. A college students dream.

class size is good, positive interaction with students and accessability of professors who are quite knowledgeable.

I wish the professors would push the students a little harder and grade appropriately based on class attendance.

There is a lot of hands on things to do; its part of the class. But the homework can be sometimes overwhelming.
College Junior 2013-01-06T19:54:08Z
Even though the classes are 5 days a week; 5 hours a day, I chose night classes which are held from 5pm-10pm. During the day I can take care of my son, do my homework, get stuff done, go to work, and other things. It does get hard to study sometimes, but the homework and the studying is crucial to my grade so it has to be done. And sometimes its hard to get to school because of the 5 o'clock traffic .

Access to the labs is excellent. They're open late, and reopen early in the morning, and if they're not unlocked then you could just ask security to unlock it for you. As for Internet speed it varies. Copiers and printers are available all over the labs, for a small fee.

MAC is a program that helps black and spanish students get through college. This program has helped me a lot by keeping me in college and having support.

This campus is nice, and holds a lot of opportunity so i cant really complain. I can come here and feel comfortable. However this school should have more activities to keep the students more interested.

Ok as far as computers but the school sometimes has its bad days.

I do not have any complaints regarding flexibility at atlantic cape community college. Classes are simple and too the point. Although professors do not extend or accept late work, my professors are willing to help with any problems I have. My classes are spread out long enough so I can have time to prepare for the next class, and not have to worry about frustrations and hassles.
College Sophomore 2012-11-19T21:33:31Z
I give atlantic cape community college an A- because the work is reasonable. The professors make class simple and easy to follow along;everything taught in class appears on tests. I dislike how small the campus is, not many people attend the atlantic city campus so it is difficult to make friends.

Organizing your schedule is very easy at Atlantic Cape. I have been able to plan my school around work every semester. They also provide online classes for those who do not have the time to physically come to the campus.

Psychology is very fascinating but involves a lot of work. Classes are harder than general classes but very worth taking for what you get out of them.

The computer lab is very nice, the computers are fast and up to speed with new technology. The printing system is fair as well.
