Tuition & Financial Aid:
I am happy with the financial aid program, however, it would be much easier for me to go to school if I received a book check. My family struggles financially so heavily that it is so difficult to purchase books.

The campus life is very alive. It gives everyone a sense of comfortability and protection. I enjoy how close it is to my house, and how many of my nursing courses are available at my closes campus.

Printing on Campus – I really dont like the printing on campus in the library they make the students pay for whatever they copying and print. I feel as though we pay enough for are classes and books that the least they could do is not charge us for that.

Class Registration Process – I wish that around the time of class registration, there were more people to help the students. I feel as though there are not enough staff for that job.

Good Stuff – Computers are nice, but it gets cold outside sometimes...

Pretty Decent – The students are... Average. Some of them take their college courses very seriously, because they are working to provide better for their familes. But the younger people take this college very offhandedly. They're lazy and unwilling to commit to work because this is "community" college. But it's their money that they waste, and the professors have no problem kicking out unruly students from the classroom so I don't have to worry about my money being wasted.

Pretty Good – My workload is decent, and easy to keep up with as long as I keep on top of it. Nothing I have in my semester isn't related to my major, and I feel like I'm learning quite a lot.

Pretty Awesome – The campus is small and local; so it's very easy to get help from at least someone. Every teacher mentions anything that can help you, with it's MyMathLab or when the tutors will be in the Library to try to help you. The syllabus gives out their emails and office hours, so professors are very accessible and easy to get a hold of. And most classes also have a Blackboard going on, so if you miss a lecture or want to double check something you can simply log into that using your Student ID.

Less Time Consuming – Some online classes are good to take. Math wouldn't be one.

Priceless Atmosphere – Atlantic/Cape Community College Cape May Campus is small but everyone no matter what position they hold will help you with any assistance that you may need. The Mays landing Campus is closer to where I live but I'd rather drive further and pay a toll to attend school in Cape May. The employees are priceless.

I personaly dont know how good the post-grad services are at my school but a couple of friends of mind had a hard time transfering their credits to Stockton college, a 4 year college after they graduated from ACCC.

Transferred Credits from High School – I was able to transfer my 13 credits from high school with little to no problems. I am able to attend ACCC while working a part time job and various acts of community service. My school is only 20 minutes away so it is very convenient and the classes are great.

People Going Back to School to Get Education – The majority of the people in my classes are people from the workforce trying to get a degree to advance their career.

Up to this point all of my professors have been very helpful in my transition back to school. I have been out of school 25 years and it took me a while to get readjusted.

The teachers here seem to really care about their students success. They are available through email if you need, however, do not have much interaction with students outside of class. They work with students and help them build their way to success.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Students in Need/Vs Those Not – I have found that a lot of the students that attend this campus has financial help, a lot of which are grants or scholarships. I am only allowed to take out loans. The school also charged me wrong so I had to come up with over $3,000 unexpectedly. The school did not make the fees known until last minute. Also, I have noticed that a lot of the students that receive grants and other help do not apply themselves in their classes. There are students, like myself, who have to try and figure out ways to pay for school who take things seriously and work hard. I feel that things should be looked into more carefully when it comes to tuition and financial aid/need.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tuition is very high here. I can barely afford the tuition. I do not even have enough money to buy textbooks. They do not give me financial aid because there is too many students that go to this school that get financial aid.

The experience at Atlantic cape community college is very bad. There are no dorms, few sports, and the teachers and students are terrible.

The student body at the May's Landing campus is very diverse. You can meet people from all walks of life, from the older adult who is working hard to further their career or maybe obtain a better career, to the younger 20-something who are getting financial aid.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
