Sports Are a Big Deal – Here at Auburn-Univeristy Montgomery, most of the student life involvement is with the sports organizations. We have nights called, "black-out" when our basketball team plays a rivalry team. We also have an awesome tennis, and soccer team that achieved multiple titles for the 2011-2012 year.

School of Education – There is allot of emphasis placed on skills you will need as a teacher. The one big shortfall is in teaching us not only how to use up to date automation, but in teaching us how to teach with it. AUM is good, but many of the professors are stuck in the distant past.

The winters are not cold, and you the semester ends in May before it gets hot.

A Melting Pot – AUM is one of the most diverse campuses I have ever been to. There are international students from all over, students who live only 30 minutes away, and other students from across the country. Not only is there a huge diversity, but there are no typical cliques and social groups; everyone mixes well with each other and finds acquaintances and friends with differing social groups.

Not Worth the Money – AUM cafeteria food is not too bad, but it is not too good either. There is the typical salad and sandwich menu and recently added chicken grill, providing chicken fingers and sandwiches with fries, and Papa John's pizza, but the price you pay for any of the foods provided is far more than the value. There are not too many places around campus to get other foods, and with only a 40 minute lunch break you are almost stuck with buying the mediocre meals in the school cafeteria.

Extremely Diverse – Although this is an extremely multicultural university, everyone operates as if we are all color blind. We treat everyone the same no matter what. As long as I've been here I have never heard of an incident of discrimination.

A Great Environment – Auburn University Montgomery's campus has a great atmosphere, almost all the time there is a smiling face somewhere as you walk around campus. The students always seem to get along great, and the professors, even the hard ones, are willing to assist you at all times. I have enjoyed learning so many different things since I have been going to school here.

AUM Compter Labs – The computer labs at AUM are very up to date. AUM has the latest technology, but at the same time, the computer labs are very crowded. There is only 3-4 computer labs on campus with ten to fifteen computers in each lab.

I currently use the PACT program that covers most of my tuition, but the school has not made any effort to send financial aid/scholarship to help me qualify for additional assistance to cover the remaining expenses and books.

AUM-Montgomery - Housing – I do not utilize the dorms at Auburn University-Montgomery, but from appearances, they are modern, beautiful dorms. I would love to live on campus but cannot afford to.

Montgomery, AL - Small Capitol Town – The city of Montgomery, one of the largest cities in the state, is home to our State's Capitol, cultural attractions (Art & Performance), and several great college universities. Auburn University-Montgomery is where I attend, and has a great business school. Although Montgomery is a good place to live, it fails in public education. Unfortunately, the private school sector is the only path to a solid education.

Great School – My overall experience has been great at Auburn-Montgomery. The best thing about this school is the instructors. I must say, that all the instructors that I have had were very helpful, and always willing to make time for students.

There are a variety of resturants in the area. Eastchase is where most students go to eat, because it is close to campus. It consists alot of stores to go shopping and a great deal of resturants.

Network Reliability – The network reliabiity at Auburn University-Montgomery is very reliable compared to other schools that I have heard about. There are several computer labs on campus making it very accessible to use a computer on campus. The University also makes it easy by connecting students laptops to the university so that students can use their laptop on campus.

you have to go and get a parking decal for visitors that's just crazy. I love my school but the parking is ridiculous. It takes forever yo find a good parking spot.

AUM's the Roost – Campus dining services are OK. The food is expensive, but they do have a great variety of foods here. I know that after my sophomore year, I'm not getting the meal plan anymore.

Grat College Town – Montgomery, Alabama is a town full of diversity. It brings in people from all around the world because it is known for being a college town. There is AUM (Auburn University-Montgomery), our big rivals ASU (Alabama State University), which is a huge party school, and two year colleges all over the Montgomery area. The shopping malls are everywhere. Montgomery is the number one place to find almost anything that you need, whether its cars, clothes, houses to the small simple things; you can find it all here. I love being here. I hope financially, I'll be able to stay here.

Money Problems – Well they aren't very helpful with trying to get you scholarships if you are not a freshman and had started there. They are round about and lot of times you have to continually check you financial snapshot to make sure everything is right because it could be stuff on their that is not right and you have to get it fixed. It took me awhile for them to get everything straight but afterwards it went smoothly, just have to say don't depend on them to do everything and to do it right.

Well the different varieties that we have to choose from are great and the food itself tastes pretty good. The only complaint I have is the prices of some of the food. They are kinda high and if you don't have the high meal plan kind of sucks but hey its all good though. Its a very social place at lunch time and that's when you meet everybody and make new friends. Its really great for when you don't want to cook at the room too.

Health & Safety:
Safe and Snug – Campus security is pretty tight here. Nothing serious ever happens for real but when it does they be there to help. I feel safe enough to walk around campus late at night because I know that no one will bother me. Its a small, beautiful safe place where anybody can enjoy themselves without worrying about getting jumped or robbed or anything like that.

It rains alot in the summer so walking to classes can be a burden.

There are several places to live near the campus. Being on the newer part of town they are costly though.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
