The Student ACT Needs Work – The current student activities center is old and outdated, however there are already plans for construction for a renovated center. The computer labs are up to date for the most part, and the recent construction on campus has made Auburn a campus with some of the newest buildings in the country. The library is old, but it is well kept up and I enjoy visiting it for studying. The campus is the most gorgeous place you have ever seen; The Plains can't be beat!

Health & Safety:
You Couldn't Ask for a Safer Campus – The security on campus is great. There is a security shuttle which will take you anywhere on campus at any time of the night. If it is after 6 PM and you need a ride from campus to somewhere off campus, then you can take the night transit safely. In regards to special security measures, there are police all over campus at any point and time ready to help a person in need. There are also cameras set up around campus in various entrances to buildings. I feel safe on Auburn's campus at ANY time of the day or night, and I would be stunned if the school could make it much safer.

Apartments Are Everywhere! Everywhere you turn there are apartments ready to rent. They are pretty average in price and all are in great condition. Even though some may be farther away, we have a transit system that is wonderful. I would recommend off campus housing to everyone.

Tiger Transit – Buses are part of the tuition fees at Auburn. The Tiger Transit can take you anywhere on campus and to a few off campus locations. There's even a late night bus.

At Auburn it's harder for a black student to be accepted by the white kids. Honestly. But everyone seems to stay o themselves.

All the Hot Spots – Off campus dining at Auburn University is excellent. There are so many different restaurants such as McDonald's, Moe's, Chick-fil-A, etc. All at great prices.

Nightlife in Auburn can be really fun. Some of the bars are known for being a bit shady, so they can be avoided. Other well-known ones and house parties can be looked forward to when you want to have a good time.

Labs Are First-Come First-Serve – The computer labs at Auburn University are crowded about half the time. Most people have a laptop that they bring on campus to use the WiFi, but more computers in certain areas of campus would be nice.

WAR EAGLE! Auburn is a down to earth campus. We have the best time during football seasons. We also have what not many schools have - a show choir! And in the newly remodeled building, they even offer more food varieties, such as Starbucks, Chik-fil-a, and Domino's pizza.

Stay at Home – Nightlife around Auburn can be strick. Some places have a strick dress code (no ball caps, no tennis shoes, etc). There are only 2 clubs that aren't 21+. House parties can get out of control so I suggest not going alone for females. On the plus side, there are shuttle buses that will pick you up if you are too intoxicated.

All Parties. Auburn is great for the kids who love to party. To kids that do not party, this school may not be the best place. It is hard to focus on school because there are parties everywhere and everyday. The town does not have anything fun to do but movies, bowling, and bars.

The parking situation is awful. The car will be ticketed or towed no matter how long the car was parked. It can be parked for 5 min and guaranteed one will have a ticket on the windshield. One has to come when the classes let out to ensure a parking spot. Honestly the best thing is to leave your car at home and take the Tiger transit. Either way you have to ensure at least 30 minutes to park your car or take the transit to get to class on time.

Greek Does Not Mean Anything. Some people may think being Greek is extremely important, but that is not the case in Auburn. Everyone interacts with each other, regardless if one is Greek. Everyone goes to the same parties and a lot of the same events.

Transits Could Use Work, Night Shuttles Are Great – The Tiger Transit at Auburn seems like it could be helpful, but finding the right one to take and guessing the amount of time is always difficult. The night shuttles are great! They pick up rather quickly and take you to wherever you need to go.

Sports Are EXCELLENT – There is nothing more exciting than talking about Auburn athletics! The students at Auburn are the most loyal fans at any college campus. Auburn also is very diverse when it comes to sports. We excel in many different areas such as football, swimming, equestrian team, etc.

Advisors Are Excellent With Helping Students – I have only been in the College of Liberal Arts for a short time, but the advisors are so helpful when it comes to choosing classes and thinking about future career options in my intended major.

Zero Tolerance – There is a zero tolerance for alcohol and drug use on campus and zero tolerance for drug use off campus. The police are on patrol for drunk drivers all the time, so don't drink and drive.

Freedom at a Price – I lived on campus my first two years, and while the value was great, I did not have ready access to my vehicle (it was parked approximately 1 mile away and was damaged several times in the parking lot). They built new dorms closer to the parking lot where my vehicle was parked, so that problem is sort of fixed. I had little privacy in the actual dorm. I lived in an apartment for my junior year, and I loved everything except the price. The average rate with a 3 bedroom apartment is $450-500/month. And the particular apartment I was at, gave lower rates to those who signed up last. I overspent my budget on apartments. There is a great variety, and many high quality of life apartments in the area.

Health & Safety:
Completely Safe – While there have been numerous accidents from crosswalks, the school has taken many steps to ensure the safety of the students, including lighting the crosswalks at night and re-painting the lines. A couple of years ago a girl was killed on the way to her car in the middle of the night. The school responded by providing night security shuttles and security officers to patrol the area. The local police also patrol the campus throughout the day and night during the school year.

More Drinkin – You do not really notice the drug use at Auburn if there is any. You see more alcohol than anything.

Auburn University has a wide variety of food on campus. From the normal places like Chic-Fil-A, Papa Johns and Au Bon Pain to the food dining halls like Terrell and Foy that provide a wide variety of food. The meal plan is also very generous.

Guys & Girls:
Diverse Yet Unified – The variety of people attending auburn university is very typical but surprising. They have many similar interests but in different ways of approaching them.

Conveniently Yet Overpriced – there are plenty of dinning areas off campus but it does not seem to be economically efficient.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
