Auburn parties are in my opinion the best parties. The fraternities and sororities usually always have at least one a week and they are always fun to go to. Me and my friends are always the life of parties. Between the greek organzations, Kappa Alpha Psi has the best parties. And transportation is usually an issue because almost all parties are off campus.

Guys & Girls:
The guys at Auburn are really cool. They are really loyal friends to have and are really fun at parties. The girls are pretty cute. They are a step above normal high school girls and most of them are extremely smart. The sorority girls are usually the first to catch your eye because they always have on bright letter jackets.

Reliable and Large in Number – The computers at Auburn University are all reliable down to the desktops and the rentable laptops. The internet connections are good, and they are very up to date with computer programs and such. Having a personal computer is not necesary at all but the convenience it has is unmistakeable.

Great Food and Environment but Can Be Expensive. THe food and selection is amazing, the only problem is it is too pricey. As anything in the free world some places will be more than others, but they are improving on providing good and least costly forms of food on campus. recently they added a papajohn where you can get a personal pan pizza and drinks for about 5.oo which is a good deal.

Health & Safety:
Just recently auburn addded more pedestrian signs, helpful pedestrian hints, there are signs everyone on safety for individuals walking at night, they have a transit system that will get you at night, as well as an alarm/emergency system that you can push if you are being chased/stalked/etc.

I've never scene illegal drugs on campus. But tobacco is fairly common as well as alcohol on football weekends

Student Body – Students on my campus are all different. Where you are on campus influences the people you see. You never know if your gonna see an engagement, or a protest or a livestock species.

Agriculture Science – The buildings on campus are beautiful but many are in need of updating but cannot receive that because they are required to put in elevators which there are no rooms for. The bus system also isn't that great but everything is slowly improving.

One Big Happy Family. War Eagle! Auburn truly is a great school. Everyone is like one big family and I am proud to say that I am part of it. I live for Saturday football games. There is absolutely nothing better than standing in the student section at Jordan Hare and screaming "WAR EAGLE" at the top of your lungs with everyone else there. I have yet to feel like an outcast. Each fall semester we even have "hey day." You basically wear a nametag and say "hey" to everyone you see that day walking around campus. It's a great way to get people interested in others around them. I have nothing bad to say about Auburn and if I had to do it all over again, I would most definitely choose Auburn again! War Eagle!

There are no clear cut guidelines or rules. It's like everyone just knows what they're supposed to do and just does it without having to be asked. We are encouraged to keep our grades up, but student-athletes are really the only ones who are checked up on. Most students are responsible enough to take care of themselves and do what they should do.

Health & Safety:
I always feel safe when I'm on campus, day or night. If you stay into the late hours of the night at the library, you can opt to be escorted to your car by a security guard. I've never felt that this was necessary, but it's good that it's offered to the students.

Everyone wants to be a part of the greek life. It is really hard to find someone that is non greek. Something is always going on with either a sorority or fraternity.

I live off campus in a nice apartment. I love it it has all the amenities that a college student needs. There is also a pool, exercise room and even a game room. It is moderately priced ane in a good location.

There are a few restaurants near campus but non really give you a student discount. Most of them are expensive so I don't eat in them very often. There are more eateries that have better prices they are just further out. Our favorite hang out is the Waffle House, the prices are okay and the food is good. After a night out the groups normally meet there.

the parking at auburn university in auburn is awful. you have to show up an hour before your class start just to drive around and stalk the people leaving and even then the parking spot that you get isnt ideal.

Great and Not So Great – Obviously there are great off campus housing apartments and houses as with any school. Many of them have great parking and are still on the campus transit system route. There are some that parking is terrible, cars get towed even if they are visiting a resident, and rent is ridiculous just because they are close to campus.

Auburn's transit system is great. There is never a worry about who is going to drive after a night out because the night bus will pick up and drop off at any hour and there is no extra charge. The people are fun to party with but also take studies seriously.

There is a great amount of diversity on Auburn's campus. I'm pretty sure the majority is white, but I see different ethnicities everywhere I look. Not to mention the clubs and organizations that have to do with different cultures and religions and such. Also, once a semester there is a fair of sorts on the concourse where booths are set up with different countries and students from the countries talk about their heritage.

Variety in Food and Places to Eat – There are many places to eat on campus. There is a great variety from fast food to sit down. If I get bored at the Student Center, I just walk to Foy or to the Village dining hall. It's amazing to have a Starbucks on campus.

College of Education Is Very Close Knit and Helpful – I am in the College of Education at Auburn University and it is a great college. All of my advisers and teachers have been exceptional and helpful. Any question I have had has been answered before I've had to ask it. I feel like I belong in this college.

Security Shuttle – Auburn University has developed a wonderful transportation system that allows students to feel comfortable and safe. Upon orientation students are provided with the number to the security shuttle. The shuttles availablity is wonderful during all dark hours. It will drop students off at any on campus facility. Recently Auburn has also added the Toomer 10 which is also a security shuttle for those students living off campus. The wait time varies are Friday and Saturday nights are very busy, though usually the wait isn't unreasonable. Unforfunetly the shuttle does not run during football game days. Otherwise it is a great option for students to avoid walking alone at night or intoxicated driving.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
