Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Most students seem satisfied with their teachers at Auburn. However, as with any university, there are some teachers that don’t meet the standard. The biggest problems that students encounter with their teachers are difficulty understanding foreign teachers, particularly teacher assistants (TAs) and getting stuck in lecture classes.

As a freshman or sophomore, large classes are usually hard to avoid. However, students feel that personally confronting any teacher with a problem you might have will definitely be a benefit to them. Also, while it may be an obstacle to understand a teacher with a foreign accent, that doesn’t mean they are any less willing to help students in the class. Students claim that most teachers are approachable and helpful, so don’t be afraid to confront your teachers in class or during their posted office hours. Their job is to help students do the best that they can during their time at Auburn. And most teachers succeed with flying colors, particularly navy and orange.

Aerospace Engineering at Auburn

Auburn University has a great Aerospace program. There is a lot of work, but there needs to be to better prepare students for the workforce. One thing that I believe is unique to Auburn is the amount of opportunities to get involved. I am part of the Auburn AHAB team which is a branch of the Auburn University Space Program and I do not believe I would have been able to accomplish what I have at any other school.

Auburn Is Awesome

The overall academics at Auburn is very good. It is a well rounded school with a lot of different opportunities for different fields of study, study abroad, internship experience, etc.

The registration process, while somewhat frustrating, is pretty efficient with a completely electronic process that you can complete while laying in bed.

The professors are exceptional. Each one I have encountered is willing to go out of their way to help students succeed.

Auburn University is a top-notch school with Engineering degree plans. This University has more staff devoted to this major than any other major at the University, and the attentiveness of the staff and professors are second to none! Did You Know? The building known as the Haley Center is where the majority of freshman classes are held. This building is also one of the hardest to navigate. Room numbers are split into three sections: floor number, quadrant number, and room number. So, for example, room 3122 would be on the third floor, first quadrant, in room 22. Good luck!
