Football season is an obvious plus. Tailgating is fun and friendly. There are several options for athletic involement.

Apartments Are in Great Abundance.

Auburn has lots of apartments to choose from. Many are so close to campus that you feel like you're living on campus. The schools bus system makes the ones farther away still easy and convient to get to school.

Partying

Most of the bars are just off campus, so if you live close to campus you can walk. Most of the nights the bars are 21 and up, but Wednesday nights are 19+. I am not 21 yet, so i dont go to the bars. The fraternities always have parties, and the frat houses are just off campus. Auburn has a night security shuttle that you can call to pick you up at night if you are around campus. Apartment parties are a little smaller, and more personable groups, and cheaper than going to the bars. Just make sure you have a DD.
