Yes! However, some residence halls have nicer community kitchens than others, so if you were planning on doing that often, I would choose one of the higher-priced housing units.

Opinions vary when it comes to eating on campus. Many students enjoy the food that AU has to offer. Terrell Hall and The New Student Center are the two most popular places for students to eat on campus. There are also several little snack and coffee stands throughout campus if you need a meal on the run.

While both Terrell Hall and War Eagle Food Court offer a variety of foods, some students still prefer to eat off campus. This is made easy by being able to use their TigerCard at almost all restaurants in the downtown area. Unfortunately, meal plans can only be used on campus.
