Overall, students are very happy to be in Auburn. They love the people around them and the experiences that they get to have.
College is what you make of it. If you sit at home and don't do anything, then you won't enjoy yourself no matter where you go. With all the options you have offered to you at Auburn, you have to try to not have a good time. And with a student body that is so happy to be here, it's also hard not to get swept up in the excitement. As always, it's a good idea to visit a college or university before making a final decision. Make sure you're as happy and comfortable as you can possibly be.
The student center has several computers on the second floor, and it's rare that there isn't at least one open. The library has more than enough computers. Even during finals I've never seen them all taken. Most buildings have at least one computer lab, although dorms generally do not. Although the computers are numerous, they are not very fast, and shouldn't be relied on to get something printed in a hurry before class. Campus WiFi is very fast and rarely goes down, even during peak hours. Another important consideration to make is that most professors prefer to communicate through email. If you have a smartphone, this isn't an issue, but it can make things difficult if you can only access your email when you're on campus. You can definitely get by without having your own computer, but I strongly recommend it for the sake of convenience.
Nursing is extremely competitive at Auburn University. You must apply to the school of nursing. Take your sciences and harder math classes through the University. They do not like a lot of transfer credit. High GPA is a must. It is a very time consuming and difficult course.
Tiger transit it great. Lots of buses running constantly to all dorms as well as apartments.
It rains occasionally and you must walk through it between buildings.
Auburn has amazing transportation. You can take a bus to any location in the city. They can even take you to the mall or near the theater. They even have a number you can call to get a bus for late at night and they can take you home.
