I love the library! The librarians are grand - they sure know their stuff. It is a haven of quiet for me and I have always been able to not only been able to get the material I need, but to have it printed. Even if it is from other libraries and sources.

The centrality of the location in a large city. The ease of parking which is priceless and the informal atmosphere when applying. I can always get a qucik question ansered with a phone call which is awesome...and talk to a real person. Financial aid is amazing.

I haven't actually eaten food at Augsburg cafe but the cafe looks a lot healthier than the food at the school where I did my undergrad. I was served a little dinner at my orientation and it was pretty good.

No Grad Student Community but Teaching Is Strong – As a grad student I feel very disconnected from the rest of the school. Part of it is that all of my classmates, including myself are working. So I come to Augsburg for class and that's about it. I do wish there was a way to encourage socialization but I'm not sure grad students would come if it wasn't required. But so far I teachers are very knowledgeable and I've really enjoyed my classes.

Augsburg is very diverse. The class size are small giving you better one on one education. It's a welcoming environment that makes you feel like a part of a group. Auggies Love the City! Augsburg is located right in the heart of the west bank of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The diversity on and off campus is unbelievable! There is an African Restaurant on one corner, a place you can order a huge bowl of Somalian rice for $2, and Chinese buffet down the street, $6.50 during lunch, and a Global Market a few blocks away full of all kinds of different foods. Depending on where you go there are also well known chains around Augsburg like Taco Bell and Noodles and Company. Whatever kind of food you want, you'll be able to find off campus at Augsburg.

Augsburg College is a great college to go to for teaching. I can really see that they integrate the students into the community and are helpful. I am a little disappointed about being an Art Education major and not being able to take as many art classes as wanted. School to me is a place to get my degree, so I don't get as involved with campus life. I do enjoy being on the Augsburg swim team and have liked my experience so far.

Hard Times Cafe – Hard Times Cafe is a great hangout location for students to go off-campus. It is located right on Riverside by the college and is easy to walk to. They have mainly organic food options and vegetarian selections. It is also a nice place to study away from the campus. Get a coffee and bring your homework!

Normal MN – It's normal Minnesota weather. It doesn't effect our campus at all because in the winter skyways and tunnels are available. When it's nice out there are many different spots to hang out where the sun shines!

The Twin Cities Speaks for Itself – Minneapolis is a great city with many opportunities! The campus is small, but once you step outside it is another world. Just a few blocks away you have Taco Bell, Noodles, Chipotle and many other restaurants. Restaurants aren't the only thing, sources of entertainment such as, clubs, bars, etc. are only minutes away. Mall of America being so close is also very handy! With all of these fun attractions, you also need to be aware that there are bad parts of the city which you cannot walk around alone at night, which is why I lowered it from an A to an A-.

Most students do not need to have a car. Parking is very tight at Augsburg. The city of Mpls. has a great transit system to get you where you need to go.

A School That Wants You to Succeed – If you need help, the professors and other student staff are always willing to help and/or find you help.

Great Professors! Based on my experience at Augsburg thus far, I would say that Augsburg is a great college full of dedicated and passionate professors. All of my classes have been very small and discussion is always encouraged. Most professors get to know you on a name-to-name basis and care about how you are doing in the class. They are also always available to answer questions and further discuss topics outside of class.

In the Heart of the City – The Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolis area has so much to offer college students interested in getting off campus. There's a great mix of small private schools and larger universities in the area(including U of M). Also there's always interesting cultural events or free local music going on. The Twin Cities was recently named the most bike-friendly city in the US; it also has a great public transportation system.

It is required for students in the major to be part of psyc tests and surveys. Also require to make your own tests in the future

City Lights – Located very close to the University of Minnesota, Augsburg College is right in the center of city lights. We have a light rail system that gets us directly to stores and even the mall of America.

It costs but is worth the price. The light rail and bus systems are easy to take.

All Comparable to Other Colleges in the Area – The only deficit I can say is the food. It is much to be desired.
