Guys & Girls:
Random People – The people at Aurora look like they are all friends, I don't know what it is but everyone looks pretty much friendly. The guys look older and is nice not to see high school boys all over. The girls have grown out of their sluttyness.

I Like It – Besides the fact that class is never canceled, I like it hear. I can bring my lunch so that I do not have to pay the outrageous prices for the on-campus food, and I commute so that I can have freedom.

It is rare for class to get canceled at AU, even though it is common for the weather to get crappy. It snows every year and there are no passageways to get out of the cold when walking from building to building.

Lots of White/Black Students – The campus is actually pretty diverse, since the school is located in/ to near the heart of Aurora, there are many different ethnic backgrounds found on campus.

OK Options – The Nightlife is for those who are 21, there is a theater, but it is expensive and there is not much else around the campus to do.

OK Options – The options are campus are slim and the quality of food is average. But the price of food on campus is OUTRAGEOUS!!!!

OK Options – There are quite a few options around AU but not that many that give student discounts. There are many fast food options, but not a good amount of HEALTHY options.

A Beautiful Atmosphere – The facilities on campus at Aurora are very nice. The buildings are extremely pretty, as well as the atmosphere around the school. There is a fitness center, gym, and rock climbing wall for those who are more physically active. The Crouse center is available for those who need help in classes. The library has multiple floors to study and relax in peace and quiet. Eckert hall is a beautiful building where the financial aid room resides. There are many campus activites, at least once a day for the students to participate in. A native american art gallery resides in the basement of the Dunham building. Many students can also hang out and grab a bite to eat in either "The spot" or the cafeteria. Overall, the campus has beautiful facilities filled with activities.

The parking lots at Aurora are very small and it is usually quite difficult to find a spot to park, unless you arrive bright and early in the morning. The permit to park in the lots, however, is only 25 dollars, which is very nice. I have not received a parking ticket, but I believe they are only 20 dollars for the first two offenses. I do need a parking permit, since I will be commuting and I will most likely need to arrive to school at least 20 minutes early in order to give myself enough time to find a spot.

Crazy Cone Ticket – It's not terrible, the campus security is great late at night if you don't feel safe walking alone, or lock your keys in your car. I've also had a friend who needed a jump because her car died and they were extremely willing to help with that. However, they like to place cones in parking spots to block them off with no apparent explanation as to why...if you move one you get a ticket! Yep, that's right a ticket for moving a cone!

Dry Campus – Campus is dry - which means there is no alcohol allowed on the campus and you are not allowed to be walking around campus drunk. There really isn't much of an issue with this as most students who choose to drink do so at the bars and stay elsewhere on the weekends.

Glad It's Close to Naperville! While the campus itself is gorgeous and there is a decent selection of activities to get involved in, if you don't have a car you will most likely be able to accomplish the list of 100 things to do at walmart within a week. If you do have a car you're in luck because you're only 25 minutes away from downtown Naperville - a GREAT place to hang out!

Well-Rounded Athletic Program – There are three levels of sports: Varsity, Jr. Varsity, and Intermurials. All major sports and many minor sports are represented at Aurora University. Each year the AU Spartan teams (i.e., basketball, soccer, etc.) reach the NCAA tournament.

Residential Community – Plenty of residential housing within walking distance or short drive from campus (5 mins tops).

Plentiful and Available for Use – There's always computers available on campus for students to use. All labs and classrooms have computers, and they are not so crowded so that there is always one available to use.

Process Was Not So Easy – I have received a decent amount of financial aid but it was so difficult. I had to meet the financial adviser almost every single day to make sure i received my financial aid yet or not.

Teachers Are Very Helpful – I am attending Aurora University because its has double degree program, the campus is in great location and nearby my home. The professors I have had been pretty amazing. They give you extra help after class. Class discussion is encouragement and increase in knowledge and make it worth going to college.
