I came to Aurora University because I like the small feel of the college. Professors are always willing to meet with you outside of class. The campus is safe and friendly. There are several resource areas availiable to students as well,

The Criminal Justice program at Auora University is one of the best around. The professors are very knowledgeable and are willing to help students with course work and job searches. I could not imagine being in the same program at another university.

There is nothing around Aurora that is interesting. Nor are there any other colleges around to make things interesting but on the positive note it does make you focus on studies

The places around campus are good. I guess you get kind of tired of eating at dining halls, but when you need something to eat between classes, you can't complain. I just wish they could offer more variety.

There are many different kinds of food to choose from. There is a variety of things to chose from. If one day you want to kick back on the diet you can have a burger and the next day you can have a salad or fruit. You just have to pay attention to the kind of food you like and if it is always available.

They work fine and the internet speed it's good. However, since there is not a lab in every building sometimes you need to print or look up something really quick and its difficult because in most of the labs they have classes.

There are a lot of houses and apartments for rent. There is a pretty good variety of different sizes and prices to accommodate for how many roomates you have and what you can afford. They might not be the nicest but they are definitely nice enough for a college student.

They do a very good job of keeping up with all of the landscaping and yard work. Everything always looks very nice outside. They buildings are well maintained and they are always cleaning everything. I think that do a very good job making sure the school looks nice.

If you are a transfer student or a freshman you kind of get stuck in the older ones and some do not have air. Over all they are pretty nice though. The campus is always offering different activities on campus and you can always find something fun to do.

Everyone is very friendly and you can always find help when you need it. They are helpful with getting you registered and getting the paperwork that you need in. So far all of the professors have been friendly also. They offer a lot of different clubs and sports so that you can stay active.

The application process was pretty easy and straight forward. It only entailed a short essay about myself and my personal aspirations. I felt it was easier than other universities I applied to.

I am happy with the social work program to Aurora University. It is a very supportive environment, and I have learned a lot. I am happy with my decision to go into social work, but I am still deciding what specialization I want to concentrate on in graduate school. The thing I worry about is excelling financially, since social work is generally so low paying.

I have just begun my internship. The university was helpful in the process of finding an internship. They also provide detailed supervision which is important. It is unpaid and about 15 hours a week. This is difficult to maintain financially, but I like my internship placement.

There is a good mix of races and religions here. More white Christians than anything else, but a good variety.
College Senior 2012-10-06T01:07:45Z
I don't live on campus so I don't know much about it but I think it's pretty good from what I hear.
