Computer Labs – There are plenty of computer labs at Aurora. I have never had to wait to get online. The labs are located all over campus which is nice. The wireless system could use some updating.

When each student graduates there should be an award given for managing the parking lots on campus. Early morning parking is easy, after that you must hit campus at specific times after classes dismiss to get a spot or lave plenty of time to walk 5-10 blocks in the neighborhood. In the evening there are many special events and students have to take second place to the event. A parking garage would be nice!

Drug Issues on Campus – I am 49 years old. The drug scene is non existant in my peer group. I am not aware of kids showing up to class unable to participate.

The campus is quite beautiful. There is a square grass area in the middle of all the buildings. This lends to a feeling of hominess. The library is large and has a computer lab included. In the social work building is a computer lab tucked away that not many know about. The gym is nice as well as the athletic fields. The clocks in the rooms don't work and could use batteries. :)

I have not eaten on campus. I only live ten minutes away.

Health & Safety:
Campus Safety – The campus is small and so you can feel safe because you know a lot of people. There is always someone around. One area that could be improved upon is the night class parking; if you end up parking at the edge of a lot, then it feels a bit creepy after dark.

Aurora University's student body has a lot of diversity. With students coming from every ethnicity background, to religious beliefs or even sexual orientation, all groups are represented on campus. No matter who comes to Aurora University there will always be somewhere for them to fit in regardless of who or what they are.

Guys & Girls:
Much of the student body consists of athletes or people who enjoy being outdoors. On a nice day our quad is always full of students participating in a number of different activities so students can always find something to do.

Physical Education – Aurora University is a small school so as a student you are able to interact and get to know most of the students in your same major. This is helpful for studying and requirements in the major. Most of the professors have work experience in the field which allows us to learn about what it will be like when we graduate.

There are not many fraternities or sororities at Aurora University for students to join. There are a few, however, that students are able to join and participate in. Often times greeks effect the social atmosphere by hosting social events to get students involved on the campus.

Computer Labs – Aurora University has an IT lab that has students and staff who are available if any student has a problem with one of the computers. The computers are up to date and has fast internet connections. Printing is available to any student because it is covered in the tuition fees. There are computer labs in nearly every building on campus. Some classes are held in the computer labs.

Library Is Great – The library at Aurora University is really nice. There are many different books that you can find considering that it is part of i-share, which is a system where it is connected to many different campuses nationwide and you can use it for free. The atmosphere in the library is also very good. There are private study rooms and a whole floor dedicated to those who want silence. It is also great for group projects or just a place to socialize while still getting work done

Campus is small at Aurora University so transportation is not needed at all within it. For those that do not own a vehicle, traveling outside of campus can be difficult even with buses because their routes are limited, but the people are nice so you can just carpool with a friend.

Availability of Computer Labs Is Pretty Good – The computer lab area at my campus is nice, except when there is a scheduled class meeting in the lab. Then it is a little bit tricky to get access to a computer. If you have a laptop with wireless access, however, as long as you are in the building where the computer lab is, you get great wireless network access and can complete your work whether the lab is available or not.

Graduate Students at Alternate Location Get Great Assistance from Staff – I'm in the MATC program and I have enjoyed the location where I have been attending classes. Located on a lake, attending classes during any season is quite enjoyable. Most classes meet once or twice a week at night so the classes fit relatively well into anyone's busy work and family schedule. Most of the class workloads are nicely spread out over the course of the semester, but it can be challenging when you are taking more than one class at a time and trying to balance coursework completion.

The staff is helpful once you know that you can get financial aid. It was not made clear to me at the start of my program that I had many options. It took almost on year into my program before the school where I attend classes offered a Financial Aid Workshop and the options were explained to me. I'm sure the main campus at Aurora has a better presence on campus than the location I am at, though.

Great Student to Teacher Ratio – I love the small class size in my chosen program. The size enables me to make connections with other students and interact easily with the instructors. There is also lots of flexibility with class length when class size is small, so a night class can go by quite quickly if the class agrees on a set start, break, and end time.

Very Easy – Since Aurora University is such a small school there are different advisers for specific majors. This gives your adviser more knowledge and helpful guidance in what you need to do and what classes you need to take in order to graduate on time.

Somewhat Diverse – There are people from many religions but the majority is by far white students. This school has students from all over and draws a lot of its diversity from Chicago Students.
