Since Austin College is a private school the tuition is very expensive. The school does give a grant to each student. At least 95% of the students are on financial aid.

All I have to say is that when my dad lost his job my freshman year of college, Austin College did everything within their power to make sure I was able to complete my degree there, and I did. I am forever grateful for that. I would not have wanted to graduate from any other college or university, because I have a deep love for my school.

I personally had no luck with financial aid at Austin College and am going to have to transfer this next year because I can't afford it and the financial aid office has done nothing to try and help me so that I can stay. Other people, however, have told me that the financial aid office was very helpful to them and made sure they would be able to attend Austin College, so I guess it depends on who you ask.

I got a large scholarship to help pay for school. I heard from a lot of other people that they also received large scholarships. The financial aid office answers all my questions.
