There's not a lot that make the school different except you get to do projects (research 4 page min.) and its cheaper

There's a computer lab that you might be able to go to once a class, in the shop there's not a lot of tools so your stuck going out on your break and buying tools or you have to use other tools and try making them work, the classroom is pretty good they teach a lot but sometimes they teach to fast and you can't take in all the notes

There is no flexibility, not allowed to take any vacations or anything "when you signed up for the school you made a promise you wouldn't take a vacation or anything"

The school is just average, but its cheaper then other automotive schools. The teachers are good and seem like they know a lot and like teacher but the staff in the offices seem like they don't care, all they care about is getting a paycheck,

Classes Are at Set Times – They are very strict on attendance. There is no flexibility on class times. There are two sessions. You are assigned to which session you attend; 7:30 am to 1:30 pm or 2:00 to 8:00. This schedule can make it difficult to find a job when you are driving 90 min to and from school because you cannot afford to rent an apartment

Various Students Attend – There are a few females that attend but most students are male. They come from many different states. Some students commute from home others live in apartments in Exton others live in apartments in surrounding towns/cities.

Great Hands on – At this school the students get to work on real cars. Other schools only have parts of cars. The school encourages us to bring our own vehicles in to work on. Also this school is backed by the Philadelphia Auto Dealers Association.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
It is a private school. It can be expensive but the cost includes all books and tools (including a rolling tool box that holds everything). The financial aid person at the school helps with and does all financial aid paperwork.

Regular and High Performance Classes – The classes for the regular and high performance engines are very good. The only classes I take are automotive related. I do not have to take English, math or any other classes. My classes are from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The school year is 19 months straight. The only thing that can get bothersome is there isn't a break. We only get the holiday itself off. There isn't a spring or summer break. The school is run like you are at a regular job.

ATC Learning Experience – The school takes the time to insure that all students are taught to the fullest extent in the filed they are being educated. The curriculum is done on 8 week intervals and that is easier I feel for myself to learn then have more than one subject to experience and learn at one time. The facilities are accomodating to all students with the equipment, books and staff to learn efficiently. Potential employers come in to the school to inform staff as well as students of jobs and opportunities.

There is a computer lab and automotive manual library. We get to use these when we have project assignments.

Class Schedule – The administration felt the class size was too big. So they opened another class time for a select 50 students. They felt this afternoon/evening class time would give the select students a better opportunity to learn more and get better part time jobs.

Classes and Teachers Are Great – I was one of 50 students selected for a special class time to give us more interaction with the teachers and to give us a better chance to find a job. The only thing that is difficult is they don't have dorms so I had to find an apartment and roommates. Apartments are expensive.

Different Atmosphere – The teachers helped you with whatever and didnt make you afraid to ask if you had a question.
