On the whole, the girls are more attractive than the guys, but it would be unfair to say there aren't a fair number of attractive guys here. Many of the students—both guys and girls—are attractive, intelligent, and friendly, making the search for a compatible boyfriend or girlfriend less than difficult. Lots of the students also dress nicely for class, and many like to keep in shape, whether by going to the fitness center, participating in sports, or through personal habits. Another incentive for staying fit may have to do with the fact that being at Ave involves a good bit of beach-frequenting.

Most students at AMU prefer long-term relationships over hookups, which is why many students in the lower classes like to wait before they start dating. Lots of couples, especially those in the senior class, are either engaged or married, and it isn't surprising at all to see weddings right after graduation.
