Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Ave Maria is probably one of the safest campuses in the country. Security patrols campus 24 hours a day to make sure everything is going as it should, and students don't have a problem walking around at night or alone because, in all honesty, the likeliness that something will happen to them is slim to none. There really aren't any unsafe areas on campus, and everything is usually pretty well lit at night. The safeness of Ave Maria has to do with the excellent security, as well as the people here. The University is located in a friendly and safe town, and students can enjoy the benefits of walking wherever they want whenever they please.

As far as student health is concerned, there is a medical clinic on campus. Students will also be given immediate attention in case of an emergency and will be taken to the nearest hospital in Naples. Ave Maria is extremely concerned with its students' well-being, and it provides as many services as possible to ensure the students' safety and health.

Don't Really Need Security

Students don't really get into any trouble on campus. There is little crime. I feel very safe walking around alone at night.

Safe.

Hands down, one of the safest places I've ever been. We have security and all that, but it's the students and the university town that really make up the community life. I've left my laptop in public for hours and other personal belongings for days, and have never worried nor lost anything save a Pop-Tart, and that surprised me considering the campus. I would never do anything of the sort anywhere else in the world.
