Averett University provides transportation to North Campus, which is for sports and or to other off campus activities such as PE classes.

Danville, VA

Danville is a small city but it's able to offer lot to students and residents of the city. On the weekends it's nice to go to the movies, a skating rink, shopping, or go out of town to explore other cities. It is mostly known for the City of Churches which there is a church on every other corner. If you get the chance to come stop by Dan Daniel Park to walk along the trail and even try Bubba's that has the best ice cream in town.

Averett-Nightlife

There is not much of a nightlife for Averett students. As I have mentioned, the city is small and boring. It is not much to do but go to a movie and out to dinner. We have all night bus reserved bus transportation for anyone who does not have transportation.
