We have a ton of International Students. One of the missions of Avila is to be accepting of everyone.
Most of the professors are very knowledgable about their classes. The curriculum and grading processes are explained at the beginning of the semester and are very consistent. The work load was a little heavy. It would be nice if some classes lessened the work load so students could balance their classes more evenly.
The process wasn't difficult, I just didn't receive all the money I needed and I felt like athletic scholarship money was distributed unfairly.
Avila's nursing program has a very good reputation around the Kansas City area. It's the perfect balance of classwork and lab work.
They have a Subway on campus as well as the cafeteria. However in order to eat in the cafeteria for non-residents is $50 for a meal card.
