Azusa Pacific has an excellent athletic program. The students at APU are involved and support their Cougars and the team performance is outstanding including winners of "An Era of Excellence" from 2005 to 2012.
The APS program at Azusa Pacific University provided me with a solid foundation in disciplines such as language/literature, mathematics, science, social sciences, humanities, and religion, along with human growth and development, diversity in the classroom, and introductory teaching concepts.
My major is Psychology. One of the requirements in order to graduate is that you have to have an intership. This intership must be relavent to your major, most professors will suggest that you do an intership in the area in which you plan to work in. For example someone with an emphasis in sports psychology will find and intership as an assistant coach or something related.
Currenlty I do not have an interhsip, however I am volunteering, in order to use my current volunteer postion as an internship in the future.
The financial aid office failed to tell me in detail the different forms tha they wanted me to turn. I was sending forms through email two days before school began, I almost did attend college. You have to be on top of things, emailing them constanly and always asking questions if you are not sure about something. Always email them before starting the semester in order to prevent any unexpected surprises
Since APOU is an online school, you get to meet different people from around the country. APOU is college that asks its students to explore outside their comfort zone and to respect others differences wheter they be religious, polictical, or social.
