the computer labs at school are very easy to access. the network is relatively fast and very reliable. however they do charge to print anything but at a very reasonable price

Azusa Pacific University is such a peaceful and cozy place to be. The faculty is so warm and welcoming. They genuinely want to help you and see you succeed. The chapels are inspiring and the campus pastors are very wise and educated. Athletics are very big on campus and everyone is always excited to be supporting the school. Overall, APU is a great place to learn and grow as a person

mostly temperate, gets kind of cool between November and March. However at the beginning and end of the school year it does become rather hot 95+
College Sophomore 2012-11-30T03:15:01Z
Drug use does happen at APU, however it is extremely uncommon. Most people that are doing it keep to themselves and lay low, there is basically no pressure to drugs at this school.

I'm a freshmen and it is ridiculous to have a car your first year. First off the permit costs $250 a semester, which for most people is rather expensive, and also the parking lot for freshmen is on west campus in no man's land extremely inconvenient. For the most part it is easily managed getting around without a car, most things you need are within walking distance.

I wish it were a little colder some days. I enjoy the rain and miss it, but we still have a variety of weather. Lots of great spots for studying and hanging out outside. Definitely an environment conducive to studying and socializing outside of the dorms and buildings.

The coffee and bakery options are WONDERFUL, but making healthy choices can be difficult within the time constraint. It's easy to get tired of meal options because things are only available on certain days. Also, the weekend dining hours are few and far between. It's pretty difficult to make good choices within a busy, mostly nocturnal college schedule.

There’s really NO diversity at this school at all. The majority of people are white. Don’t get me wrong, you’ll see Blacks, Asians, Pacific Islanders, and some Hispanics around, but that’s on a good day. The school is totally Caucasian based, do not be fooled

If youre a high school senior that likes to go out, hit up parties, dance, have a good time out and about, you will totally DISLIKE APU for its nightlife. Theres nothing to do on weekend. Both upper and lowerclassmen go home, so if youre from NorCal or out of state youre stuck. Its like the freaking apocalypse! (no exzageration at all) If you like to party, consider other schools. If you dont care so much about parites, you wont have a problem at this school.

Not only is parking horrible, but most places around campus are illegal to park in and will be ticketed or towed by the town or school, plus they diminished the most crucial lot this summer by installing a basketball and volleyball courts. The only reliable place for parking is a 10-15 min walk for most the people who need it.

this A+ is specifically for the football program. I am one of the few advocates for this. Aside from our school being one of the only schools at our level to have football in a very large area, it is an amazing program saturated in teaching value, moral, integrity, mentorship, brotherly love, to become true men of God. The Coaches are full of zeal and purpose greater than to just win games and obtain a good program. They fundamentally value the individual athlete to challenge them as a man, christian, as leaders now and as greater leaders in the future. This program has been fundametal for me in my growth as a man of God and i know now what i need to stive for. OneBlood till i die

Workload depends somewhat on which teachers you enroll for. I am majoring in business finance and have not begun my major classes. I have heard the work load for this major is heavy, the curriculum substantial, faculty is good and valid, the technology is alright, job opportunities are often available, and gen ed is a large amount and pain in me arse.

There are multiple available places around campus with different options and opportunities that are good. I will say it is very expensive and your bathroom experience will go downhill. But im an easy going guy, I typically always eat at the Dining Hall for their buffet and enjoy their stuff. Although many people cant stand the food i think they are spoiled and un-creative.

Depends on how you look at it. APU gets an A because it is very strict and effectively enforced. Aside from it being a dry campus and other religiously inclined rules, security is always around, there is a large amount of students who look to rat people out thinking they're doing the christian thing, there are many assigned supervisors in on-campus housing who are not easy going and are rule pushers, visiting hours are dangerous, parking is limited and quickly rewarded with tickets. Anything outside the slightly narrow guidelines is attentively rewarded with different consequences and payments.

I am only enrolled in one business class so far, accounting, and so far I am enjoying it a lot more then I thought. The school provides so many opportunities for us to get involved and be seen. I am excited to continue my education.

Health & Safety:
Azusa Pacific emphasis on it's safety for all students and staff. I feel safe walking anywhere on campus and help is a phone call away if not a viewing distance away. Theft occurs in any school, so just be smart but many of the students leave doors open in the dorms and nothing gets stolen though it's not recommended because like in any school there are thieves.

There are many restaurants to choose from, fast food to fine dining like Marie Callenders. It doesn't matter where you are from there will be something for you. Most of the areas to eat are really nice and are really close to campus. No matter the price range there is something for you. The great part is some give discounts to students and it adds up to a lot of savings. Chinese, Mexican, American, African-american, no matter your race and preferences there will be a restaurant around the corner for you.

The community is spectacular. The Staff and teachers genuinely care for the students and how they are doing. APU partners with numerous Ministry Organizations to go Abroad.
College Senior 2012-11-25T22:47:52Z
There are a lot of options off campus, as far as them being good choices, not really. The restaurants directly around campus are not that great of quality restaurants.
College Senior 2012-11-25T22:42:42Z
All of the facilities are state of the ark and up to date. They meet the students needs and wants for the most part.
College Sophomore 2012-11-25T03:50:52Z
It's really easy. All you really have to do is apply and you're in.
College Sophomore 2012-11-25T03:49:33Z
Azusa is alright. Not too many people hang out in Azusa. Most people go elsewhere like the beach.
College Sophomore 2012-11-25T03:45:51Z
Most people just like to hang out on campus and play volleyball or pull pranks on each other. It doesn't sound very fun but when you're with the right people it can be very fun.

The athletics at my school just went under construction by joining the NCAA for the first time this year and you can tell it's our first year in a bigger conference.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
