It's Okay

Good academics and social life but it's predominantly Caucasian and no one is really here on the weekends.

My Personal Experience at APU

My personal experience at APU has been a wonderful one. I enjoy the convenience of the graduate level classes because they work with my work schedule. I especially enjoy that this school is a Christian university, we do devotionals in class for 20 minutes. I love that we can get an inspirational devotional and put God first in our education.

APU Is Unique

APU is not only a school, but it's a community. I transferred in here last year from a junior college and got put in "transfer housing" which is an apartment complex located right across the street from the school. This was the best experience I have ever had. They really plugged us into the school and got us involved, but they knew when we needed our space and gave us that too. We eventually all became friends and had huge dinner parties, study groups, movie nights, and random adventures up to the top of the mountains right behind our school. The school set up events to play broomball on the ice, or halloween parties, or formal black and white parties. Transferring in, and living on campus, was the best decision I ever made. Transferring into APU was not my first choice, but once I transferred in here I quickly realized that if I went to any other school, that would be a mistake. The friendships it creates will last a lifetime.
