Don't really know you have to go into Boston.

Health & Safety:

Wellesley is good, safe, and very nice. Don't expect much to be open after 8pm though. Boston is a lot more vibrant and there's a lot more to do.

Basically Babson offers housing for everyone, first year students must live on campus. A low percentage of students live off campus since it gets expensive to live around Wellesley. If you live farther, it's inconvenient to commute in it seems.

Health & Safety:
Generally health services and BABO (the campus police) are there when you need them. Health services you need to have an appointment which can get kind of annoying.

Varsity Sports are encouraged though not a large part of school activity.

Babson Shuttle is very well planed and organized. The Shuttle will take students to the local mall and to downtown Boston on the weekends.

Spring, Summer, and Fall Weather at Babson is beautiful and enhance outdoor activities. The New England winters require adjustments.

Due to the recent administration change Babson is no longer permitting Greek Rushing for the incoming freshman class of 2018.

There are currently shuttles and taxis that you can use, but taxis tend to be pricey and the shuttles are usually pretty inconvenient. There are T stations pretty close by to take you into Boston, which is helpful. I brought my own car there because it only costs $75 for a parking pass.

Babson provides all their students with Lenovo laptops. The are great to use in class and outside of class. The network is usually pretty sturdy. If any classes require special software, it is usually free to download and easy to do so. Printing is also free. The laptops are also wireless from any part of campus, so it is extremely easy to the laptops anywhere. The IT Tech Support is also very helpful. I currently work there and we help all students that need help with network, software, replacements, etc.

Greek life is very small at Babson simply because the school itself is small, but it does play a big role. There are currently three sororities and three fraternities. I am in a sorority and I absolutely love all the people I meet and hang out with. They are great connections, but they also involve all other students on campus to participate in some of their events. It has really helped me become a better leader, friend, student, etc. It's definitely been a home away from home, and I have loved every part of it.

We have a lot of Diversity, due to the fact of the high international presence. Also there is a lot of diversity when it comes to economical background because the school is able to award funds to students who show promise. There is a little bit of everything here but things do tend to get very cliquey
College Junior 2013-07-29T14:11:01Z
It all depends on who you know and what you consider to be fun, the college doesn't put on too many parties but there are plenty of students who will throw them in their dorms or suites
College Junior 2013-07-29T14:09:04Z
The only transportation around during the week is the shuttle which only takes u to other colleges for classes and the only way to get around town is to walk because the commuter rail takes you into Boston, there are no buses at all in wellesley

The workload at Babson is extremely heavy. This school is very demanding and the assignments/projects are huge. The professors are generally fabulous and work very well with hard working students. Generally, they are caring and communicate well. Sometimes, however, the workload is just overly large. With that said, this is partially why Babson has a great reputation and their graduates obtain employment upon graduation.

Babson is a very diverse campus. It has an enormous diversity regarding economic background, political belief and religion. Sexual orientation is generally not as diverse, in my opinion. Most people are heterosexual there. There are a few who are not, who are accepted, liked and very much part of the school environment. Sometimes, the huge wealth of some families is a little amazing to the more average population.

Guys & Girls:
At Babson, you will find a wide diversity in both genders for everything, including; looks, wealth, religion, kindness, ethnicity, social skills, likes, dislikes, party goers and not. Both groups of genders differ tremendously. I would have to say that the girls are generally much hotter than the boys, however. Generally, the male population at Babson is not very attractive. The ethnic diversity of the entire school population is hugely diverse.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
