Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Reynolds Campus Center is in the middle of campus with Trim Hall on one side and the Sorenson Center of Fine Arts on the other. It contains the Crossroads Café, Woody’s Coffee Bar, and the Campus Bookstore. Students also feel like they are in charge of their monetary arrangements here, with free access to the credit union and a Fleet Bank/Bank of America money machine. For financial purposes and projects, many students visit the famous Cutler Center in the Horn Library. There, Babsonians are able to use state-of-the-art computer systems for financial data analysis and can even take free Bloomberg classes that teach them how to use important financial software. You will find many students sipping on a cappuccino, reading a Wall Street Journal, or chatting with friends outside the Horn Library. Athletic facilities provide students with a wide range of exercise equipment and racquetball and squash courts.

The Babson campus consists of rolling hills, clusters of woods, and carefully landscaped grounds. Altogether, it is very well-kept, with the custodians and gardeners working day and night. The beautiful greenery and the great architecture provide an awesome view for students and parents on their first visit and throughout their stay at Babson. One point of interest that everyone notices is the Babson World Globe, which sits outside of Coleman Hall on top of the Coleman Hill.

Great Facilities

For a small school Babson has amazing facilities. Some facilities that you might not expect is an art studio, a very well equipped science lab, recourse centers for speech, writing, math and other business courses.

A very well equipped gym with weight lifting rooms, squash/racquetball, volleyball, indoor soccer courts, indoor track field, Olympic size pool, saunas and a dance studio.

Every classroom and study room on campus is available for reservation. The library is just as much of a social place as it is a study place.

Campus dinning is much better than your high school cafeteria. There are alternative dinning options aside from the main dinning hall at the campus center and graduate school. However all dinning is suspended at midnight.

Facilities Are Awesome

The facilities are great here at Babson. They are constantly being renovated with new furniture being added to the student center, library and classrooms. The athletic center always has new equipment to be used. Several dorm buildings on campus offer a variety of different atmospheres that will be fit for anyone.

Favorite Things To Do

In between classes, you can meet up for lunch with a friend at Reynolds Hall, shoot some hoops at Webster, or take a self-tour of the newly built facilities at Olin College of Engineering and meet some new faces on the way.

Many students are very familiar with the Sorenson Center, because this is where plays, movies, and dance shows entertain the Babson crowds daily. The semi-annual Babson Dance Ensemble shows are probably the most fun events that students gather to watch with friends and sometimes families (during family weekends). Roger’s Pub is becoming a chill place for kids to come together for a drink a small concert, or to experience Babson’s “Pub Nights,” which are hosted every Thursday night by various campus organizations. Reynolds Center is another hang-out spot for relaxing, playing some pool, or just watching TV and dozing a little between classes.
