Grads Entering Job Market
Advice
- Babson’s Center for Career Development (CCD) is helpful at providing Babson graduate and undergraduate students with useful resources. The staff is very educated and often offers great advice and help with career planning. They are also very involved in helping students find internships and jobs. Start looking for jobs as soon as possible, don’t wait until the last minute when searching for a job or an internship. It’s better to be the first rather than the last person whose résumé a manager looks at when it is time to hire. It’s also important to update your résumé and get it edited and approved not only by the CCD, but also by other people in your field of study. The CCD is a very good resource for guiding students through the right steps towards successfully getting a job. This way, you have numerous opinions and can decide for yourself what is best for you, based on the job that you are applying for.
