Easy So Far – I haven't officially declared my concentration yet, but I've met with an academic adviser to ensure that I am on track to meet my two concentrations' requirements. Fulfilling one concentration is quite easy, but fulfilling two, especially if they are both management ones, can be tricky. If you know what you want to concentrate on (or even if you have an idea), meet with an academic adviser early in the first semester to get an idea of what fulfilling the concentrations requirements would entail so that you can be prepared when the time comes to pick future classes.

Finance and Entrepreneurship – Babson is fantastic at what it does. The business courses are top-notch: Innovative, engaging, and hands-on. The professors who teach them are equally excellent, most of whom have real-world experience to provide context to the corricula of their courses. Furthermore, as everyone there is technically graduating with the same degree (Business Management), the student body is (generally) equally interested in the material.
With that said, the liberal arts courses range from acceptable to atrocious. I have had one good experience with non-business courses here, and that is with a professor who essentially structured the course around writing an independently researched term paper. He gave us a great deal of freedom and was mainly there to bounce ideas off of. When libarts professors were actively teaching, however, the classes were dull, the content was trivial, and the experience reminded me more of 10th grade core requirement classes than anything that would help me develop intellectually.

It's All Business – Babson is #1 for Entrepreneurship. We only have the one major: Business Management and Administration, but that means that every aspect of your experience is tailored towards your major! There are endless opportunities and the most supportive community I have ever been a part of!
