The campus is not the best campus but it is pretty clean. All buildings are organized properly and all classes are easy to find.

There are not very many campus activities. The library I am quite fond of. It is hard to find a computer, but if you come in at the right time it is easy to get a table by yourself to study.

I have never had a problem working classes around my schedule, but that may be because my work is very flexible. But generally, there is a wide variety of classes offered. The counselors accept drop-ins as well as appointments, but during registration periods it is VERY difficult for them to even answer the phone. Teachers are alright, but sometimes the administration can be painful to deal with.

If you cannot afford to go away to a four-year university right away, then BC is an okay option for two years until you can transfer. I do not think it prepares you very well for the future, but there aren't very many alternative options in Bakersfield.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
There are no hidden fees. What you pay when you register for your classes is it. It does not have the greatest academics, but you get what you pay for. Tuition is cheap, and so is the quality of the education.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
