Not a typical college town. Locals are very involved with the students. Not many people go to Cleveland for fun.

If you have the gumption and a car, then there are plenty of places to go in Cleveland and the surrounding area. If you do not have a car then there is little to do off campus. The local residents live right next to campus and the town of Berea is very cute and friendly. Out my window, I can see kids getting picked up by the bus for Elementary school and that's cute. It is very very very safe. We are near the metro parks and Coe Lake park which are very nice in all seasons!

Berea is a small town, but it isn't in the middle of no where. Cleveland is about 20 minutes away, so if the bars in Berea aren't enough there is plenty to do downtown on the weekends. The campus has a great recreational center for working out and there are plenty of activities to get involved in on campus. Everyone in the area is extremely friendly and fond of the school!

BW is in the middle of a nice small town. There is a really nice park at Coe Lake, which is within walking distance from campus. There are shopping centers, fast food places, and a hospital right down the street. What sucks is waiting to cross busy Bagley Road to get to the other side of campus.

Berea is a small town outside Cleveland, Ohio. You have the best of both worlds-small town and its old fashion charm which moves at a slower pace and the bright lights of a big city's nitelife with all the excitement of a big crowd. There ia also plenty to do in Berea and Cleveland which ranges from hiking and outdoor activities in the Metro Parks to fine resturants, museums and professional sports events.
