Ball State students are generally very friendly and outgoing people. The best places to meet people are at parties, in class, around your building, and at bars.

If you are interested in a random hookup, parties are going to be your best bet. If you are looking for something like a relationship, the best places to find a partner would be in classes or in your building.

Being stylish at Ball State really depends on your own demographic, social affiliation, and taste. On a typical Saturday night, you'll see guys wearing anything from polo shirts with popped collars to skin-tight girls' jeans and eye makeup. Urban street wear is also ubiquitous among the males around campus. The girls of BSU tend to be more homogenous. General party gear includes really short shorts, low-cut designer shirts, and heels. Heels tend to be most commonly found among freshman girls who are historically willing to sacrifice comfort for the sake of fashion. They are usually pretty easy to spot, as upperclassman girls generally go for a more dressed-down look. Maybe they'll put makeup on, maybe they won't.
