Additional Facts & Statistics

Things I Wish I Knew Before Coming To School
  • Classes here are competitive-there are many aspiring young professionals here who are "18 going on 30."
  • If you take a class and you don't expect to do as well as you like, it is always better for your GPA to drop the class and take a W rather than to see what you get in the end.
  • Make sure you really look for interesting classes and good professors during the shopping period at the beginning of the semester, since after this time, it is difficult to get out of a bad class.
Interviews & Information Sessions
Call (212) 854-2014 between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Interviews are conducted throughout the summer and fall. Saturday interviews are only held during the fall.
Campus Tours
Tours are given daily Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and do not require an appointment. Tours will not be given during college holidays and breaks. It is recommended that you call in advance to ensure that there will be a tour on the day you are interested in. Campus tours begin at the Office of Admissions located on the first floor of Milbank Hall.
Overnight Visits
Overnight visits are only offered for high school seniors and only during the fall semester. Call the Office of Admissions to see if there are any opportunities for an overnight visit.
