At Barry University, there is someone for everyone, if you look for it. There are definitely more girls than guys, and most of the girls here are quite classy. It is rare to find someone who is just into one-night stands, probably because this is a small campus and rumors and gossip fly quickly. It seems like the girls here either want a serious relationship, or they just want to party and be single. In general, the girls here are very smart, and guys have to work hard to impress them, but all around campus you will find couples holding hands, eating together, and just being themselves. Because the school is very diverse, you will find a lot of biracial relationships—Miami is known as a melting pot, and the Barry guys and girls truly encompass this.
If you’re looking to meet someone, Barry’s Campus Activities Board offers several activities throughout the year for people and couple to hang out, socialize, mingle, and make friends. Although getting an education should be your top priority, if you want a relationship, it won’t be hard to accomplish, with the right attitude and personality. If you are looking for a "quick-action" situation, you probably will not be so lucky, but good luck.

Barry is very diverse. There are people from all over the world. The most common dress would be short and tank tops for girls, and jeans or basketball shorts and t-shirts for guys.There are no nearby clubs, but there are always people going out downtown to go.
