Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

The Barry campus is a pretty safe place, even though the students have mixed feelings about it. It is very hard for non-students to enter campus because everyone must show their ID at all entrances. This makes everyone feel safe, but the downside of this is that commuters may have a harder time getting onto campus if there are lines at the campus entrances while security checks IDs. However, the security on campus is always visible, and there is a 24-hour emergency number available if immediate assistance is needed.

There are not any unsafe areas on campus, but some places outside of the campus gates may be unsafe at night. There have been a few incidents in the past of car break-ins, but nothing major has happened on campus. Plus, since Barry is a small campus, if there is ever a crime, security will be there a lot faster than at most schools, and the close-knit relationships on campus provide a safer, more relaxed atmosphere for students.

Hope You Dont Die!

Barry University is not a safe school at all. Anyone can walk into campus. At least twice a smemester the school will send out a notice about a possible threat with an armed weapon walking around campus. At night the lighting is terrible and the school is full of dark alleys. Barry is located in the worst part of Miami. Two blocks away from the school is where all the prostitutes and gangs hangout.
