Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Regardless of whether you’re 18 or 21, there are plenty of places to go out and have a good time here, and the University is only 10 to 15 minutes from Miami's best clubs. If you are at least 18, you can have a good time at Club Space or Nocturnal, to name a few. If you are 21 or older, Miami has an awesome club called Mansion, which People magazine named “Miami’s Hottest Club.” Celebrities, including Chris Brown, Lil Jon, Lil’ Kim, Omarion, and even the Jersey Shore cast, regularly party at Mansion. However, make sure you have a couple hundred bucks to blow if you want to party here!

“Legal” Barry students also have their favorite bars, including Ale House, Wet Willies, and Monty's Raw Bar. In general, the best parts of the city to go for a really good time are Coconut Grove, South Beach, and downtown—no matter what you are looking for, these areas will have it. If you aren’t looking to party and/or drink, you can relax at a nearby Starbucks or have fun at Aventura Mall. And for students who love house parties, Barry's Greek system never fails. Just locate a few sorority sisters or fraternity brothers, and they will give you all the details about the next bash. If you enjoy nightlife, Miami is definitely the city for you!

Nightlife

Nightlife at Barry is not very exciting. There are strict quiet hours and strict rules for alchol being around minors. But even though it is not very fun; Barry's main concern is the student's safety and well being.
