Major Events

  • Homecoming, which takes place in the fall includes a concert by Bates's a cappella clubs, the opportunity for alumni to attend classes and lectures, and the football game. Off campus, regional clubs organize events, such as cruises, trips, and lectures.
  • The largest Alumni event is the yearly reunionm which takes place in the early summer after graduation. During reunions, alumni attend seminars, dinners, receptions, and the popular lobster bake.

Publications

  • Bates Magazine comes out twice a year and includes a large section of class notes, where alumni can pass on information about their lives and contact each other.
