There is a great computer lab with plenty of ability to print and you don't necessarily need your own computer due to access to campus computers

Not applicable to me yet but from other students Ive heard great things

I have no reason to believe anything other than good about the student body. I don't know many, but all whom I have spoken to are very kind and helpful and friendly.

Everyone will help you get anything done you need to. There is a tiny bit of professional barrier, but other than that it is practically a family environment.

The actual facilities are great. The network, however, needs some improvement. The wifi tanks far too much and there is some weird glitch that forces you to enter a password and Login name but wont accept it.

I love the spiritual openness. I like the small class sizes as well as the friendly teachers and open door policy for the president.

I enjoyed my online classes. They were easy to use and very informative. However, I had a couple issues. One, the opening of the classes by week and the updating of dates from semester to semester is a bit lacking. Two, my online math instructor from last semester, Mike Turco, needs to work on his professionalism. He wasn't terrible, but he made one very discouraging comment that would lower his performance grade from an A to a B in my opinion.

Aside from losing my transcripts, the staff at BMCC has been very, very helpful and cheery. They have went out of their way, in several occasions, to ensure my success.

They have computers in the library and they allow you to print things for free, within a limit of course.

It has an emphasis on native american awareness. They have small class sizes which allows for teacher and student interaction.

It is a smaller campus, but it has a great library and the classes are small and intimate.

the interaction with instructors online is a hit or miss, sometimes the moodle program fails and it interrupts the process of grading and attendance.

The professors are all very willing and able to attend to any needs, a lot of the instructors are department chairs as well, so they have all worked in the field they teach, and love every bit of it. everyone here really enjoys themselves.

I'm a business major, and so far everything is up to my expectations. The faculty is reasonable, and friendly and don't mind helping out when ever they can. they encourage tutoring and student services. At this college it is ALL about the students.

Online Student – As an online student I haven't had much of a chance to know just who I am talking to. Many of the people I meet through the school forum are parents or are working full time or multiple jobs. It's nice to know I'm not the only parent out there trying to continue my education.

Still Figuring It Out – During my previous semesters I was only taking general education classes. This is the first semester that I have declared a major and the classes offered for the degree look like classes I will have fun taking.

I'm Not Just One Student Lost in the Crowd – Even though my classes are online I feel like my education is important to not only me but to my professors and classmates. Having encouragement has really helped me, a teen drop-out, go above and beyond in reaching my academic goals. I LOVE my school.

This School Goes Above and Beyond! The professors at Bay Mills Community College offer the same one-on-one attention to the online students as they do to those on campus! I was surprised to find that I could walk on campus as a strictly online student and speak with my teachers about my coursework and also receive tutoring or other help with the curriculum. Bay Mills Community College also offers FREE tutoring to ALL students! The professors and staff are geared toward helping each and every student succeed, no matter what type of student they are.

Great College for What I Am Looking for. Other than having a hard time being accepted by other students, I really like going to Bay Mills. It has been a really great school and I feel like they have given me everything that I needed. I have taken classes on-campus and online and I feel like I have gotten a quality education all around. I look forward to continuing my education here.

Strong Native American Population – I enjoy going to Bay Mills but the only problem I really have is that I did not grow up around here and I am not a member of either local Native American tribe. The school is very small and most everyone who attends it is local so everyone knows each other. It has been hard to make friendships with people my own age (24) because everyone is so close. A lot of the focus in any activities is continuing education for Native American culture.

Most students who graduate from Bay Mills transfer to other schools and I know that the school works really hard to provide information and help with transferring. The school is also based heavily in the Native American population in the area, considering the college is on the Bay Mills reservation. A lot of students who do graduate are able to get jobs within the tribe and in the surrounding communities.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
