Transportation at Bay Path is on a first-come first-serve basis. Bay Path offers a van shuttle service to bring their students to stores or malls when needed. It is the main form of transportation for students without a car and is often used to shuttle students to the bus or the train station. It's difficult to rely on the shuttle for appointments, though, because it's also used by sports teams and for class trips, and only one shuttle runs at a time. Other than that, it is the perfect mode of transportation to travel to the mall for a day out. Bay Path informs the students of the shuttle's schedule through e-mail or a post on the school's online bulletin board.
Besides the shuttle, Bay Path students rely on Yellow Cab to travel to Springfield or around Longmeadow. Bay Path has established a contract with Yellow Cab that allows the student to use a cab now and pay later for the services. This is convenient for those students who are waiting for paychecks to clear, or for when the shuttle van isn't running and they need a ride off campus.
